I don't have that particular one, but I think having a good play mat is a great idea! Look for one with good reviews, which it looks like that one has!

Plus ~$20 is a pretty good price, I believe we payed around $40 for ours.

 Edited for spelling!

I think they all kind of hate it after a few minutes. DS gets frustrated I think.  I just try to cheer him on and I get excited and lap when he lifts his head. I think e gets excited that someone else is excited. I don't have a special mat. I just put him on his play gym mat and put a mirror or black and white book r myself in front of him.

DS gets frustrated with his after a few minutes.
As PP mentioned I get excited and cheer him on as well and he seems to be really into it for 2 minutes then just gets frustrated.

I was just going to post about tummy time so I'm glad I saw your post. My son is 10 weeks old and hates tummy time. Once I flip him over he sings me the song of his people as loud as possible. He gets so frustrated right away that I feel bad and flip him over. I don't want him to freak out every time I put him on his stomach but it seems to be where were headed. I pat his back and get excited when he pushes himself up a little bit but over the screaming I don't think he gets it. His Dr said to do a couple minutes if possible 3 times a day and start increasing it slowly.

Oh and he's on a playmate with mirrors and others things but I'm almost at a lose of what else to try. Any advice I'd appreciate it also.

DD didn't start enjoying tummytime until she turned about 4 months old. We mainly did it for seconds at a time before she would get cranky about it. The most I could get her to do was when I would lay her on my chest since she loved the interaction face to face with me.
