induced tonight

We are 90% set on Willa as the first name.  Although, I have Greta in the back of my head as an option.  Anyway, I know I have posted this before but I just can't make a decision.  We really love the middle name Noelle but I worry Willa Noelle is way too many "L" sounds.  We also like Willa Louise (after my grandmother) but the same with the "L" sounds.  Our third choice is Willa June which sounds the best but has no real meaning.  Can you all humor me and give your opinions one last time?

Willa is NMS, but I love Greta! I think Greta Noelle is very pretty.

Thanks for your reply.  We are pretty set on Willa so I was asking about middle names for Willa.  If we were going to go with Greta, Noelle is the decided middle name. :)

All the Ls don't bother me, plus you won't be saying her FN and MN together often and I strongly prefer a family name. Willa Noelle is less of a tongue twister IMO.

Absolutely love Willa! Willa Louise is beautiful, I agree, too many "L"s in Willa Noelle.

I prefer Greta, but if Willa has been the standout name all along stick with it.  I would go with Willa Louise.  If you go with Greta, I like both Noelle and Louise.  Im always one to go with a MN with meaning than with flow.

Willa June would be dead last.  I love June and I think Willa June is super cute, but like you said, it has no real meaning and that puts a damper on its shine to me.

Just based on sound/ flow alone, I would go with Willa June. 

My second choice would be Greta Louise.

Willa Noelle and Willa Louise do have lots of L's, but the flow of fn/mn doesn't bother me as much if the mn has some meaning.  I really like Willa Louise.

I like Willa Noelle. I don't think it's too L-ey and it flows nicely. Plus she's a close to xmas baby and Noelle is great for honoring that. 

WIlla Louise is cute, but it is a little more of a mouthful.

I forgot to say, I almost went with Louise as a middle name for Greta. It's my favorite SIL's middle name. I even accidentally called her "Greta Louise" and "Greta Lou" a week after she was born. Forgetting we went with Vivian. Oops!

Both Willa and Greta are very pretty! I don't like the sound of Noelle with Willa. I think either Louise or June would make a great MN. Louise scores a little higher in my book because it's not as popular and is a family name :)

I honestly don't think Willa Noelle has too many L sounds since they are soft L's I think it works and I actually like it more than the other options. I think you should own it and do it!

This is coming from someone who grew up with the name Laura Llewellyn. So I am used to lots of L's and love them!

I completely agree with this. Her middle name will rarely be used and I think that when it comes to middle names the meaning/significance is more important than the flow.

I LOVE Noelle and it sounds good with Willa. I don't notice the L's because they're separated from each other enough- that's my fav of your choices.

Louise sounds much worse with Willa because all the L sounds are together, it's hard to say. Willa June is fine, I just like Noelle better. GL!
