Baby Shower last Saturday

My baby shower was Saturday and I had a wonderful time!  My mom and sister did such a good job.  Everyone was so generous and I'm grateful and thrilled that I now have so much to get ready for LO.

The only "negative" was that about 10 people RSVP'ed attending and then didn't show.  We had a wonderful group of about 25 people, though.  Plus, everyone got to pig out on the snacks without worrying about stuff running out.  I even got to take leftovers home :-).

Maybe with the recent tragic event, some didn't feel like partying, please don't hold them to it. But glad you had a great time.

So glad you had a great shower.  25 people is a really nice number  Too bad so many no-showed.  Ten is really a lot but like the other poster said...the recent tragic events just might have taken their toll on people.
