slyrose123:Finally pulled to a stand. We have been working on it for awhile now and when I went to get him from his first nap today he was standing in his crib!! Yaaay Good thing I lowered his crib already when I saw he was trying to do it.
Still not a hands and knees crawl but I heard not all babies do. Just a pretty fierce army crawl. Especially if Gidget (our toy poodle) leaves one of her treats laying around!!
He was so proud of himself too!! I told him to not move, grabbed my camera and took one CUTE picture of him cheesing it up. It probably had something to do with all the cheering and jumping around I was doing to congratulate him! Haha
First of all, YEAH!!! Such a moment to be thrilled about, and I'm glad for you and your family:) Second, I bolded that part of your post as you totally remind me of me. My dd has gone from laying down to sitting up only twice on her own. Both times I didn't get to see as she was waking from her nap. I came in the find her sitting in the crib. The second time it happened, I went in the room, saw her and said something like. "Stay still honey, Mommy will be right back! It's ok..I'm coming..just getting the camera!" lol...she wasn't too happy, but I couldn't miss the moment. The picture that I ended up getting was priceless. She wasn't too happy with me as she was very unsure of the actual sitting in the first place in her crib. She hasn't done it since either so I'm doubly glad that I got the pic.
