S/O Donor Milk

There was just a news story about our NICU's donor milk program. It is completely supported by employee donations and any baby can get it until 30 weeks gestation. DS got it a few times before my milk came in. There is no milk bank in our state and it comes from Texas. Each 8 oz bottle cost the hospital 14 dollars and is rarely covered by insurance. We thought formula was expensive!

I was amazed that the employees believe in this program so much that they are able I give enough to sustain the demand in the NICU.

Wow!  I donated milk to a milk bank in another state.  I'm amazed their employees have that much extra supply.  Awesome!
