Hi I was around some in 2009 when we adopted our son. He is now 18 and off to college. Since that time we have gone through 3 rounds of IVF and have now decided to pursue foster/adopt. My husband was on board with adopting again long before I was I had to grieve my infertility first. (if that makes sense)
Well we are have our MAPP classes out the way from when we took custody of our son, we are now just waiting for them to come update our home study and we have to update our background checks and fingerprints.
We are getting excited about starting a nursery as we are gearing to foster/adopt ages 0-5. We are scared that they will deny us for some crazy reason, like we have 3 dogs or we rent or we both work nights. (all of which should not matter) so is nice to "meet" yall and be apart of this journey together!!
