Marceline WDYT?

DH brought up Marceline..it is a French name meaning "warlike", pronounced Mar.sell.een.

I think it is a nice, feminine name with a good ring to it. Thoughts?

Hmm.. I don't really like it. But it's one of those names that maybe could grow on me if I heard it multiple time. Possibly. Though, I'm not really a fan of the name Celine, which would possibly get adopted as a nickname.

Yeah, it also makes me think of the name Marcelle. I once worked with one who was quite a few years older than me and quite eccentric. I can't get past that.

I love it!

It is also the name of the town where Walt Disney grew up. He based Main St. USA at the Disney Parks on his experience there.

I know a girl named Marceline, though it's pronounced Lynn at the end.  She just goes by "M" (Emm) as a nickname.  I always thought it was very pretty and unusual.
