night time snack?

Dd is eating all solids and few cups of milk a day. She eats great and drinks her milk out of a sippy cup just fine. She sleeps through the night. She eats her     dinner at about 6:30pm and then goes to bed by 8:30pm. Does anyone give their lo a small snack after dinner???

No, but we eat dinner around 6:30 and bed is at 7, so there's no need. Is she acting hungry at bedtime? When is her last cup of milk? If there's a 2-hour difference between dinner and bed and she's acting hungry, I'd probably offer more milk just before bed.

I give her either some goldfish and water or a little dessert like sherbet ice cream. We eat dinner at 5530 and bedtime is 8 so that's a long time without food! My pedi suggested it actually she just said no milk atleast 30 mins before bed.

No snack here. We eat dinner about 6:30 and start bath time right after. I give DS his last cup of milk after his bath is over, around 7:30 or so. Then, its story time and bed ends up being about 8pm.

We really like to follow DD's cues on just about everything.  If your LO is acting hungry, try giving a small snack.  LO will let you know if they're hungry.  I wouldn't worry about it until your LO tells you differently.  Such smart babies we have! :)

this makes me happy to see because DS goes to bed at 6:00. but whenever it comes up and I tell someone that, they look at me like I'm nuts. Didn't know if I should be putting him down later at this point. But he's happy so i figure why bother.

Anyway, no bedtime snack here since there is really no time for one.

No snack here.  DS eats dinner at 5:30 and is in bed by 7:30.  I always offer a sippy of water before bedtime, but that's eat.  He's often not very hungry for dinner, so I never feel that he'd need a snack.

If your LO isn't acting hungry, then I think you're fine.  But I see no harm in offering a small snack if they want it.

Haha yeah people always give me weird looks, say I am mean/crazy/etc and my mom is always complaining that she can't see DD after work and that we can't go out to dinner but that is just when she gets tired. I'd like to put her down a little later so we could have dinners as a family or go out at night once in awhile but it just doesn't work she is a mess after about 4:30.

We went through that with my mom when DD was taking a 3rd nap at 5 and nobody could come over and see her after work.
