Blue Veins?

Hi, my fianc and I are trying to concieve and I am on 17dpo 28 cd I've been having BFN so far....well tonight I went to take a shower...took off cloths, glanced in mirror and there are blue veins popping out everywhere. Usually I have a couple on my chest but have them all over breast, shoulders, hands, wrists, stomach. Legs,and sides. Thinking that maybe I was just seeing things I told my fianc to come here. I asked if he say any veins and he said holy crap and started tracing them to show he saw then. They are pretty dark. Sign of pregnancy, possible late reaction to getting off BC, or should I be worried it something else?

Hey! When youre pregnant your blood volume expands. This can cause your veins to be more obvious. So good luck!! Its a possibility!

While an increase in blue veins can be a pregnancy for SOME women, it really doesn't mean anything right now. I had to learn the hard way that nothing is a pregnancy symptom until after a positive pregnacy test. You will drive yourself crazy symptom spotting! Like, literally crazy. It's not healthy [or wasn't for me at least. I can't speak for everyone]

I had the visible veins with my last pregnancy, but I don't think I would get excited about it until I had a positive pregnancy test! Good luck!

OMG! You're pregnant!!! Start planning the nursery and registering for the baby shower. 

ETA: But are you having Urgent Urination? That is only only real way to tell.

TTC #1 - Stopped using BC March 2011, officially TTC since August 2011
Dx: PCOS & mild hypothyroidism (me) & MFI
2 cycles Femara + trigger = BFN/no response. 2 cycles Clomid + trigger = BFN
IUI # 1 = BFN
Repeat SA - low motility & morphology w/ 99% bound by antisperm antibodies
Recommendation: IVF w/ICSI

Negative HPT = Not Pregnant. Your cycle is not "regular" if you were on BCP. The pills were telling your body what to do. It is operating on it's own now. Chill out, lurk a little and start trying to learn about your body.

TTC since October 2011.
DX with Non-IR PCOS in October 2012.
Missing RIGHT tube due to a prior surgery to remove cyst-zilla (40 lbs!) at age 12.
HSG showed tube was blocked - cleared by dye. DON'T DO CLOMID WITHOUT AN HSG!
Cycle #8 with 50mg Clomid & TI = BFN
Cycle #9 with 50mg Clomid & TI = No response.
Cycle #10 with Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel shot = BFN
Cycle #11 is a break cycle. Cycle #12 is a break cycle. (The break so nice, she did it twice!)
