macchiatto:Yeah, I was hoping to bake something for her but if there aren't good options, just something tasty would be good. Last year I made Rice Krispie squares for her as the alternative to cake, but that's when she was only glutenfree and I know they have butter. The fruit salad is a great idea! I'll see if I can find the ice cream, too. Thanks for the suggestions!
Do you live near a super Target? They have an awesome cake mix line called Cherrybrook Farms. I believe the vanilla mix is gluten, dairy, egg, soy, and nut free and is so yummy! We use it all the time to make cupcakes and I even made DS's smash cake out of it for his bday. They have an amazing chocolate frosting mix as well that you can mix with any dairy free butter substitute. I use soy/dairy free Earth Balance.
