LoisLane23:Caffeine in a Dr. Pepper is not known to be dangerous to embroyos/fetuses.
I hope you are kidding me? Caffeine is like alcohol - they really aren't sure EXACTLY how much is dangerous but they absolutely 100% without a doubt know it is. That's why your not supposed to drink coffee!!!! They have a recommended upper limit on caffeine intake and seeing as caffeine is also in EVERYTHING chocolate, teas, etc. it's generally recommended that you avoid coffee and sodas.
u can have 200mg of caffeine a day
My RE recommends no more then 100mg. Have a Dr. Pepper, a liptons tea, and a few chocolate chip cookies and you're over the 100mg limit. Bottom line - caffeine is a KNOWN danger - wouldn't you be a little more worried about that then something the FDA has approved to be safe?
Holy crap, you actually make the OP look calm and sane.
You should ask her to stick around Carolyn.
Ummm, I dont think I seem insane or not calm in my original post.
If you read it that way thats not my problem.
I dont even drink sports drinks and I barely drink soda so this story has no effect on my life. I was just passing on the info so that the women on here can make an informed decision before they open up one of the beverages containing that ingredient.
The same way they have info about other products out there. Its up to them to decide if they still want to drink them or eat them.
I didnt think I was posting something bad. I just wanted to pass the info along.
Next time I hear something may be bad for you I will keep it to myself.
