Lupron side effects..help

Lupron is making me feel like crap. What symptoms have you all had/have and when did they set in/how long did you feel like this? I'm on day 9 and I feel horrible. Anything that you've done to help them?? Thanks!

I hate Lupron. I had horrible headaches (bordering on migraines) from the Lupron the whole time I was on it. I've heard that the stims really help with the headaches, but I never got that far as I was cancelled before I started them.

I hope the side effects go away soon for you!

Thanks... Headaches over the past few days have gotten worse, I get migraines anyway so I wasn't sure if it was the Lupron at first, but now I'm certain. I feel super nauseous too and lightheaded. Ugh.

It stopped for me like pp said once I started stims.
Me (30) Him (29) married since 9/4/10 Tubes completely blocked due to endo, his swimmers are perfect IVF#1 5/15 - started lupron, 5/30 - baseline ultrasound, 6/1 - follistim,6/13- ER 21 embies, 6/18- transferred 1 perfect blast, 6/28- beta- BFP, 6/30- threatened mc, 7/2- confirmed mc FET #1 8/6- started BCPs, 8/18- Lupron, 9/4- Baseline, 9/6- Estrace, 9/17- ultrasound, 9/25- embie transfer, 10/5- Beta BFN FET #2 10/12-started BCPs, 11/02-Lupron, 11/14-Baseline, 11/15-Estrace, 12/4-transfer Hoping for the ultimate Christmas Present! PAIF/SAIF Welcome

Ugh Lupron is the devil (well besides IF anyway)...I had headaches, MAJOR fatigue, mood swings. I felt better after I started stims as well. Hope you feel better soon!
TTC since June 2011
DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test :(
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found :(
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!
FET 11/17/12: transferred 2, one 4B, one 4C. Beta 11/30:BFFN
moving on to DS
DIUI#1 2/18/13,50mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta 3/4/13: BFN.
DIUI#2 3/19/13, 50 mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta #1 (14dpiui) 4/2/13: BFP!!!! 150. Beta #2 4/4/13: 420 Beta #3 4/8/13: 2691. Beta #4 4/15/13: 15,086
1st u/s 4/8/13 shows one gestational sac
2nd u/s 4/15/13 shows yolk sac, fetal pole and early heartbeat
3rd u/s 4/25/13: measuring right on track. Heart rate 148 bpm

I am on day 5 of Lupron and I feel like crap. I have awful headaches and and constantly tired. A weird symptom I had last time and this time is hypersensitive to touch. I can't touch things that are wool and some other fabrics. Weird I know, it makes me cringe though.

DX: Infertile 6/11 Me: LPD, all other blood work clear. May/ 2013 Egg maturity and quality issues.. DH: low sperm motility,low count.
Met with RE start clomid + TI + IUI 5/12= IUI cancelled due to positive Cystic Fibrosis carrier test. DH tested Neg. for Cystic Fibrosis,
6/12 Clomid + TI +IUI=BFN 8/10 IVF consult.
IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.
IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14
Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20=BFN
Second opinion at new clinic TBD
decided to stick with old clinic with new plan.
5/3 started metformin for IVF # 3 set to start in July!!!

I had a headache every single day I was on lupron. Stims didn't take mine away, it kept on right through to ER.

Me: 35, DH: 36, ttc: 3+ years, dx: unknown
10/11: after 2 years, saw a RE, FSH 5.4
11/11: BFP! (surprise after thyroid med & normal hsg),
12/11: missed m/c after 7 week u/s,
1/12: D&C,
6/12 IUI #1: clomid, 5 mature follicles, excellent sperm,= BFN,
7/12: IUI #2: clomid, 3 mature follicles, excellent sperm= BFN,
8/12: IUi #3: clomid, 5 follicles, = BFP!, C/P
10/12 IVF #1: FSH 5.4, estradiol AFC: 14, long Lupron 150/bravelle75,5R/5M/4F, all 4 made it to 5dt, 1 blast and 1 8 cell transferred. No frosties. BFN
IVF #2: AFC 21, MD lupron 12/25, 225bravelle/150men, 4R/4M/3F, 5dt of 1 blast BFN
IVF #3: natural start antagon, starting 3/30, ER 4/11, 12R,11M,10F

I just had a bad headache and fatigue.  The nausea did not start until the stims started.  I can't even remember the last time I was not nauseous :P  I just took some tylenol and tried to stay hydrated

DH - 36 extremely handsome and no fertility problems
IUI 8-12 and 9-12 failed
IVF 12-21-2012 - 2 I think perfect no matter what the dr graded them (2B)embryos transferred Beta on 12-31-12 Positve - Beta is 21
Beta 2 1-2-13 - 31
Beta 3 1-4-13 - 53
Beta 4 1/9 - 212!
Ultrasound 1/10 - Nothing completely empty uterus Beta 1/14 - 743; Beta 1/17 - 1704 ultrasound shows nothing. Officially a miscarriage. 1/21 Beta 3900 Dr. says it ectopic. Ultrasound shows a miracle heartbeat right in the uterus where it belongs! Dr. says I can be cautiously optomistic!!! Hang in there baby!

2:20pm and I feel a little better. Ive been sleeping about 12 hours a night though! Wake up super hot around 2am, but it will all be worth it eventually!

I'm on the microdose but I attribute my memory problems to the Lupron. I'm susceptible to what I read though so it could be all in my head but I've been much more spacey since taking the MDL starting in September. I write myself notes and leave them all over, LOL

July 2012- IVF#1 cancelled
September 2012-IVF#1.2--BFN
November 2012- IVF #2 --BFN
January 2013- IVF #3-- BFFN
February 2013--Found a new RE but first back to the Endocrinologist for more diagnostic testing
Absolutely no idea when we can cycle again...looking into DE as well if IVF#4 fails again
PAIF/SAIF encouraged...give me some hope!!
