Didn't get the full time...

Sorry to be an AW!

I just got back from signing my name a bazillion times to be a School Nurse Sub. I was hoping to get the spot that my friend is currently leaving which is a full time one, but they pull from subs that want to go permanent first. Which is understandable.

I am hoping that they'll keep me busy for the rest of the school year, and find me a permanent spot next school year.

It's hard to get excited because everyone is acting like I didn't even get anything since I'm not considered full time. My sister was like, 'oh, so you're still JUST a sub then...' Wtf.

My friend that works there now said she thinks I'm going to love it. I HATED working in the hospital and I'm SO glad I finally left. I can't wait to get started :]

Hopefully this will be the start to a full time position at some point.  Either way, you are happy and that's great!  Good luck.

Sucks not to get the full time, but glad you got out of working at the hospital! Good luck on getting a full time position for next year!

TTC #1 since August 2011
September 2012: Start IF testing
DH: SA is good
Me: CD 3 blood work is good, HSG all clear, 7 DPO blood work shows low progesterone
October 2012: Clomid + IUI = BFN
December 2012: Consultation with RE#1. Not impressed with RE#1.
January 2013: Consultation with RE#2
January 2013: CF screening shows that I am a carrier of CF. Thankfully, DH's screening shows that he is not a carrier of CF. Sperm antibody tests are negative for both of us. According to our RE we are Unexplained IF
March 2013: Post coital tests show possible hostile CM. So, maybe not so unexplained?
April 2013: Unmedicated IUI after yet another bad bad PCT. = BFN
Cultures find a bacterial infection that could harm fertility, DH and I both start antibiotics.
May 2013: Clomid + Trigger + IUI

Good luck on getting the full time position.  A lot of times at schools once you get your foot in the door you are more likely to get a permanent position.

Thanks ladies! I was really bummed with DH's reaction. I didn't think it was much to ask to be excited for me. He knew from the beginning that I could possibly not get it since they don't hire from outside for the positions...they typically pull from the sub pool.

My friend that works there said they always need help and ill be working regularly.

BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
BFP #2 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks.
HSG all clear!! CD3 b/w normal. Urology appt all clear!
DH:MFI normal count (68mil) low motility (2%) and morph (9%)
Repeat SA: normal count (45.7mil), motility (47%) and low morph (1%), DNA frag: Excellent!
Me:MTHFR:Compound Heterozygous. On High Dose Folic Acid.
Cycle 17: Nov 2012: Clomid+ Trigger+ TI= BFN
Cycle 18: Dec 2012: Clomid+ Trigger+ TI+ progesterone= BFN
Cycle 19: Jan 2013: Clomid+ Trigger+ IUI #1+ TI+ progest =BFN
Cycle 20: Feb 2013: Clomid+ Trigger+ IUI #2+ TI+ progest =BFFN
