I don't have any good advice other than trying to master the very slow very soft transfer from mama to sleeping place. I'm still working on that with DS2 haha.
I guess my other advice is try a wrap or some other kind of carrier so you can still move around and have your hands free. The last piece of advice I have is to just let the things go. My first "baby" is now a big ol' 2 year old who won't even sleep if anyone else is in the room. I know it sounds so cliche, but they really do grow too damn fast. I would enjoy the snuggles while you can if the stuff you need to get done isn't crucial.
