Eloise is by far one of my favorite girl names. I like the nn Ellie, but I've also become fond of the nn Lulu (but, that's just me).

I think it's a classic, timeless, underused girl name. Great choice!

I like it. I like the nickname Ellie even better. I don't care if the nickname is "overdone" like some people say. To me, if a name is pretty who cares if it is popular, especially for a nickname. If your kid feels her nickname is too popular later in life, she can choose to go by something else.
