Is this a low AMH?

We are gearing up for IVF #2 to try for a second child. My AMH came back at 1.34. The RE said that's normal, but after a little googling, that seems low. Any input from you DOR ladies? Should I ask the RE any follow up questions on this? I'm 27.

ETA: Oh yeah, HI! I haven't been posting much, but I'm a regular lurker and I'm trying to do better about posting as DD gets older. Her babyhood was a wild ride....

I'm also 27. My AMH was 6.xx and my doctor said it was about 3 times higher then women my age.  I'd guess you're in the fine range. 
TTC since Aug 2011, RE since May 2012. Dx: PCOS,endo, postprandial hypoglycemia DH: SA 1 - low everything, 2- low everything, 3 - good, but WBC, 4 - lost and/or damaged at lab, 5 - low everything July - Letrozole = BFN Aug - letrozole #2 = BFN Sep - NEW RE!! YAY!!!! Move to IVF w/ICSI - ER on Nov 28 - 34 eggs! FX for good fert report!

Mine was 1.1 and that was borderline low. Yours is perfectly normal and should not impact your chances. Good luck!

Papps - Long time no "see" lady! How's LO? How's life? DD is a toddler banshee mess right now. The other day I looked at DH and said "Are we REALLY doing this again?!" But really, she's a total joy and so much fun (just interspersed with horrible tantrums). She's just a very strongwilled kid.

Oh please baby jeebus in a tuxedo shirt, I hope my DD doesn't discover hyperventilating! Her favorite thing to do right now is either slam her head into something hard, thus escalating her crying, or scream angry horrible "I hate your guts" screams repeatedly. All becaues I told her she could only have 15 animal crackers instead of a whole bag. Ugh.

I'm equally dreading and excited about the upcoming cycle. We're thinking May, but we shall see. I'm happy to let you live through me for a while!

Oh goodness, I love it too. Absolutely. I wouldn't trade it and I feel lucky every day to have her when I know so many wonderful women are still struggling. I'll keep you updated! And I really am trying to be around more... ;)

I'm a DOR lady and I would have been elated with that number when I was TTC. 

BUT, with that said, I think it is probably a little low for your age, but overall I don't think it is low enough where you should be worried.  It certainly isn't a terrible number.  I also think it depends on what source you look at.  Some charts would have it as normal and others would have it as borderline low. 


DX: DOR & Fragile X premutation carrier
2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 ~ 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ LO born 9/4/12
Feb. 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undetectable) ~ FSH 6.8 (normal)
What is going on with my body?
