I wasn't up for taking the volume needed in the last third trimester to boost it high enough for my milk. My MW was happy to walk me through how to do it, but I was having gagging issues and just getting/keeping down my PNVs was enough. I also wasn't up for doing it nutritionally for similar reasons. That said, out of the options, this one is most appealing to me in terms of how the mom/baby dyad naturally works.
We did oral Vit K for DS2. His birth was not in a hospital and the shot was not available (thanks wacky laws in my state). The "best" option for a shot shortly after birth was to take him to urgent care or an emergency room--no way! The oral was very easy. We did it at birth, 2 weeks, and 6 weeks.
For DS1, we did the shot. He was born in the hospital, so it was available. Plus, it was a long, challenging birth which raised our concern about unknown trauma to him).
