The Big O

So im kinda new to this whole ttc thing. Up until last month we weren't reall trying but not preventing either. My questions are, what's the best opk? is it better to temp or do you not reall have to?

Many of us use the Wondfo OPKs from Amazon (or other places). Cheap, easy to use.

Yes, temping is best. Go to the fertilityfriend website and watch the videos.

Temping is the only way to be sure of if and when you ovulate.  OPK's indicate the surge in LH which means you may ovulate soon after getting a positive, but they're no guarantee.

Many just use opks but many temp and use opks together. In my opinion, I would feel lost and confused without temping. I highly recommend it.

1.  I use Wondfo's for OPKs and HTPs.  You can order a bunch off amazon for cheap.   

2. Temping is the only way to confirm ovulation.  Also, once you get a better sense of your cycle, it's the best way to time sex to maximize conception.  It will also give you an idea of when to test or expect AF.  Not everyone on this board temps, but many do.

CD3 & SA All Normal
HSG - Tube Sightly Blocked - Cleared by dye
Moved to RE - DX Mild PCOS
August 2012: 2nd SA - Count = 51Mil, Motility 75%, Prog 2-3, Morph 33%. Good to proceed with IUI
August 2012/December 2012: Femara + Metformin +Follistim + Trigger + IUI #1-4 = BFFN
March 2013: IVF #1

TTC #1 since August 2011
September 2012: Start IF testing
DH: SA is good
Me: CD 3 blood work is good, HSG all clear, 7 DPO blood work shows low progesterone
October 2012: Clomid + IUI = BFN
December 2012: Consultation with RE#1. Not impressed with RE#1.
January 2013: Consultation with RE#2
January 2013: CF screening shows that I am a carrier of CF. Thankfully, DH's screening shows that he is not a carrier of CF. Sperm antibody tests are negative for both of us. According to our RE we are Unexplained IF
March 2013: Post coital tests show possible hostile CM. So, maybe not so unexplained?
April 2013: Unmedicated IUI after yet another bad bad PCT. = BFN
Cultures find a bacterial infection that could harm fertility, DH and I both start antibiotics.
May 2013: Clomid + Trigger + IUI
