please, coming from someone while a name that is hard to pronounce at first sight, PLEASE, do not alter the spelling of traditional names!
my name is Taniell... its pronounced Ta-Neal, not Daniel with a T. Some can even recognize it as the group, Captain and... i dont know how she spelled her name..
Ive even come across a Zanther, you would think it is Zanther... no the mother flipped out and corrected me.. her sons name is Sander, with a fancy spelling..
seriously, it is a terrible thing to do to a child, and through adulthood! folks, dont do this! spelling is key for proper language and grammar, and i truly think the parents who want to do "different" spelling variations of a name are setting their child up for disaster in understanding the english language... an already hard language for folks to learn.
