Is it okay to bring baby to PP checkup?

I have my 6 week checkup today. DH had to go to training. I could leave him at DD's home daycare but I'd rather no exposé him to all the other kids this young in cold season. My only other option is to bring him. Anyone else bring their LO?

I did. He got a little fussy in his carrier, but the nurse would go calm him down if she wasn't busy helping the doctor. My OB/GYN's office is always full of women with their LOs.

I will be bringing mine!  DH will be back to work and I have no other option.  I always see babies at my OB's office when I would go in.

My OBs office doesn't allow any children in the office. It's incredibly inconvenient, luckily I was able to schedule my appointment on a day that DH is off work.
DS 8/10/2010 8lbs. 6oz. and 21.5in long! DD 11/28/2012 8lbs. 7oz. and 20in long!

What!!??  That's crazy!  I would have had to find a new OB when I was pregnant with DD.  I had to take DS with me to my appts when DH was at work!  It's an OB office for goodness sake!

I took DD with me to my pp appt.  Like others, DD slept the entire time in her carrier.

Yeah it's ridiculous! If you show up with a child they make you reschedule your appointment. I've never had a doctor before that wouldn't allow me to bring my children but we moved here late in the game and my insurance allows very few ob's here.
