Intro and ?

Hello Ladies!!!

I got BFP last week, to be 100% honest I am not 100% sure when I conceive or how far a long I am. My periods are a off and I do not "O" the same as most women. My periods are 39 or so days a part. We have are first doctor's appointment Jan 3.

During my last period 5 weeks ago it was short and "not normal." My periods are normally heavy and extremely painful. This one was very light and only minor cramps. 

Not trying to be silly or ask dumb questions but are any you finding it hard to get comfortable to go to sleep, heartburn, lower back pain when sitting, and I cannot wear any of my clothes. I have a pair of pants on and I cannot button them up at all. It just makes me think that I am more 11 weeks than the 5 weeks I originally thought. I guess we shall find out in a few weeks when we go to the doctor.

Oh is anyone worry about twins??? Twins run in my family and DH's.

Wouldn't you be going to the doctor very shortly if in fact you are 11 weeks along?  They normally try to see you asap.

Your doctor will date the pregnancy by ultrasound.

Spontaneous twins, I believe, are a higher chance if they occur on the maternal line. So, possible.

I'd schedule your first appointment ASAP.

I tried to get in sooner but no luck the doctor office was booked until Jan 3. 

I just thought that I would have a lot more time in my normal clothes, however, that does not seem the case. Also I did not think I would have back troubles so early. Honestly DH and I have been trying to get pregnant for 14 months, we also just moved to the area so I had to find a new doctor. It took me a few days I had to go through my insurance in net work list and once I research some them they did not have good ratings. I finally asked a co workers and got a doctor I liked at the hospital I wanted to deliver.

I'm just at 7 weeks and my lower back aches for the majority of the day. And It's pretty much impossoble for me to sleep comforatbly. My body pillow is my best friend as well as my couch! lol. If you're early on (1st trimester) you're probably bloated which is why your clothes are snug. Twins run on both my side and hubby's side (though I'm secretly kinda hoping for them Wink lol) I'm not having my first appointment until around 10 weeks. Don't worry to much. Just start eating right, and be as stress free as possible, and don't forget to look for signs of cramping and spotting/bleeding. Good luck!! :)

Thank you I really thought I was going crazy. I am trying to eat right but I do not want anything healthy lol. However, DH is not letting me not eat right. He is claiming twin girls. I am claiming healthy baby. Whatever God Bless us with I will not complain. Thank you again.

I have irregular periods too. Since my doc knew this, she got me in for a dating u/s right away when I went in after my BFP. The earlier you are, the more accurate the date will be so I might call them back and express your concerns. Also, for the record, I couldn't button my pants starting at about 8 weeks b/c I've been so bloated.

Thank you for the info, I will call the doctor office and explain the situation. I just shock my pants do not fit lol.
