Dear MIL,

I don't know what gave you the bright idea to put DD's PNP in your room wile she stayed with you, but that was your problem. If you woke her up, you had to deal with it. But don't tell me that you didn't wake her up, because she got up at 7am or before, which is when YOU got up. Whatever, like I said, YOU had to deal with it. But when we stay with you, she won't be sharing a room with you. She normally sleeps 12 hours, at home and there, and that is how I like it. I am not going to get up at 7am with her because of you. And then everyone has to deal with her crankiness, and we want a relaxing weekend. Just warning you on advance!

Love, your DIL

Dear Mother Nature,

I really hope you come through and drop some of the fluffy white stuff on us tonight!  It has been way too long since I have seen you and Parker has never seen you.  Plus we could definitely use the moisture.

Thanks!
Dry to the bone

Dear baby-in-belly:

Please stop telling me I'm hungry for something only to realize halfway through that it is giving me nausea & heartburn reminiscent of first tri.  I thought we were past this point.

Thanks,

Your loving Mommy, who would like to eat a meal or snack without feeling sick

Dear DD:

We are rebooting your sleep habits because you staying up last night (by sheer determination) until 11 pm is freaking unacceptable.  Mama is TIRED.  You need sleep so you get over this ridiculous bronchial/ear/cold thing you've got going.

Love you to pieces,

Mommy

Dear DH:

For the love of all things holy, please do NOT start talking to DD about going to play with Nanni, Papa & auntie at 8:30 when she's about to go to bed. You know she gets excited.  How about discussing that with her when she's in the bathtub at 7:30 and you're talking about plans for the next day?? Hmmm?? That way, when I'm trying to put her to bed at 8:30, it's not a 2 1/2 hour battle.

kthanksbai

Your (trying to not strangle you) wife.

Dear DH,

You know we have a billion things to do. I am sorry that I have been sick, and extremely tired, and not able to get much done. YOU however are not sick. So YOU still need to work on stuff, especially the stuff that I can't do.. Thank you for getting up with DD this morning, I very much appreciate it.  And I am happy I actually got my 1st decent nights sleep in two weeks. But you said you would deal with the laundry in the washer and dryer, and I asked you to put the last 3 gifts in their bags. You also needed to shower and leave the house by 11:45. You got up at 8am, so why did you get NOTHING done? And how did you not even get out of the house on time?

Love, your sick and stressed out wife

Dear weather,

Pick a temperature and stay there!  I am tired of the 20 degree weather changes and being sick. I have too much to do, and too little time the way it is.

TIA!

Dear stomach,

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP HURTING. It is at least 2 more weeks before I can have any tests and/or take pain medication and I would really like to be able to eat a fraction of the Christmas dinner I am cooking. I am very, very sorry I tried to "test" you by drinking a decaf latte AND eating a few bites of Chinese food. I promise to go back to toast and yogurt if you will promise that these foods will once again be "safe."

Thanks,

the miserable stomach's owner

Dear Bank Robbers,

Please quit robbing banks in the area and PLEASE quit casing DH's branch!!!!  I really don't want to have to constantly worry about my DH's safety every single day!  Plus DS loves going to visit the branch and there is no way I'm taking him there right now.  This is a good job for DH and he really seems to like it, but something has got to change and I would much rather it be you!

Sincerely,

Concerned wife and her family

Dear Keegan's immune system

I am so happy we caught your MRSA before it got out of control this time.  Thanks for helping fight it off.  However, I really hope this l really hope this fever/cough thing that the Dr. says is just a little bug goes away soon so that he can be healthy this weekend and for Christmas.

Love,

A "I'm tired of my son being sick" Mommy

Dear Technology,

Why do you hate me so much today?  Photobucket keeps freezing up my computer, TB keeps having errors, and my phone charger keeps connecting...disconnecing...re-connecting and every time it beeps/vibrates and it's driving me nuts!  It never did that with my old phone and the phone doesn't do it with other chargers.

Sincerely,

Frustrated User

Dear tummy,

Please quit growling.  We are having a potluck at work today and there are lots of yummy aromas coming from out of the kitchen.  Let's try to make it until noon!

Love,

I just want to go dig in!

Dear DH,

I know it's hard to shift from working and being a student to doing "nothing" on Christmas break but there is a whole bunch of stuff to do before people come over for Christmas. Pick something. And quit whining and picking fights. I want to stomp on your face with soccer cleats right now. Pushing me further would be bad.

Your fed up Wife

Dear DD,

I know you saw how "normal" 2 year olds act at that Christmas party on Monday and embraced their crazy wholeheartedly but knock that sh!t off. Also, pee goes in the mother effing potty, not the floor. YOU decided no more diapers so You can go in the dang potty.

Your tired of sanitizing the floor Mommy
