Red Irritated Penis

It looks like a piece of skin grew back around the rim & it was pulled back. So now DS has raw skin on his penis. He says 'peepee hurt' when I change him. I've been putting vaseline on it. It's been red and maybe a little swollen for a few days now. What should I do? You think keeping it clean and vaseline will do the trick?

I think I'd call the pedi on this one. Clean and vaseline sound like a good plan but I'd double check with them as well.

This happened to my son. (Actually, it was the pedi that pulled the skin back)- We put vaseline and neosporin. It healed up slowly.

I just talked to the nurse & she said to keep doing what I'm doing & it should be fine. This happened when he was really little, but I didn't think we had to worry about it anymore. Poor little guy.
