Sib for Adam

Hey all,

 

I just found out that my son, Adam Joseph will be having a brother. I like the name Logan. I was thinking Logan James. Does this sound terrible?

This will be my last child and all the females in my family (all cousins, aunts, etc) have Blair as the middle name (myself included). I wish there was a way to honor that but I don't think there is... any suggestions?

I like Logan James. I think it sounds nice with Adam Joseph. 

 

What about Blake as a middle name?  It's kinda similar to Blair.  Just a thought.

If I am not mistaken, Blair was originally a man's name.  So why don't you use it?

Landon Blair is a perfectly nice and suitable name for a little boy.

 Edit: Reading FAIL.  The name you like is Logan.  Logan Blair is lovely.

I like Blair as a middle name for a boy.  If you didn't want to use that exactly, what about Blaine?

I think something that *hopefully* can't go girl paired with Blair would work. Unfortunately I've heard Logan being used for girls so I think Logan Blair borders on unisex ambiguity. :(

All of this. When I was pregnant with DS I really liked Logan but didn't like that it is considered unisex so we went with a different name. I think Blair can definitely be a middle name but I would pair it with a different first name.

I like Logan James. I wouldn't bother trying to honour the Blair thing since it only applies to the females in your family and he obviously isn't one.

I think Logan Blair works fine! Logan James is great too, either way I think it works.

I like the name Blair too.  Can't Blair be a boy's name too?  Maybe use it as a middle name.  I like Logan James.  That's cute too.
