STMs: How did you feel before labor started?

I was induced at 37w3d with DD because of PUPPP, so I have no idea what to expect this time. I was 2cm at my 36 wk appt last week and 3cm, 30-40% effaced at my 37 wk appt yesterday. Started losing my mucus plug last week. Had some bloody show after both internal exams. Been having more BHs and feeling AFlike cramps off and on. Today I feel super exhausted and sort of achy/flulike. How did you feel before labor started?

 

ETA: I totally went into labor in the middle of the night after I posted this!

I felt like death on a stick, really.  My BP was sky high and I felt achy and fatigued.  I don't remember feeling flu-like or having any digestive problems like some people say, but I also think I felt crappy bc of my BP.

I went into labor around 4am. The night before I was really tired and got sick a couple times.
I woke up with the runs and what I thought was diarrhea cramps...then I realized they were 3 mins apart and we want to L D.

I felt normal. Normal enough to order takeout for dinner with zero sign of labor. Then labor started so quickly I didn't have a chance to eat. No slow progression for me!

Pretty normal. The night before I had some very minor back cramps. I thought something might be up just because I don't ever get those, but they were subtle and not painful or anything. Then I mostly had light AF like cramping the day of.

I had a weird burst of energy the day prior - got a LOT done.  I didn't have much of an appetite for dinner, and just ate a little salad.  I went into labor around 11pm.

I didn't feel any different at all the day that I went into labor.  I started losing my mucus plug gradually maybe 2 days before labor started.  That was the only sign that things were probably going to start soon.  I was 41 weeks when I went into labor.

Normal for being 40wks KU. I went into labor at 2:30am. I thought it was gas for a long time, and was getting really ticked that the gas x wasn't working, lol.

I felt the way you described almost daily for about 3-4 weeks.

I was 10 days early with my FB and I did not expect to wake up at 4am in labor. The night before I ate very little and had a hard time actually falling asleep. When I woke up nothing stopped my pains, and by the time I had gotten to the hospital I was 5cm dilated.

I felt totally normal. I went to 42 weeks and at that mark I told my husband we were going to go to the Mall of America and walk until I couldn't walk anymore. Once we were there for awhile I lost my mucus plug and then tiny contractions started. We stayed there until they got really uncomfortable and then went home!

I felt totally normal.  Never lost my mucous plug, never had any bleeding or anything like that.  I had a couple of "real" contractions (not BH) throughout the day, but nothing time-able.  Went to bed that night and woke up at 1:30 in the morning with steady contractions.

I felt normal physically....just started getting minor contractions that developed into full blown ones by the time I went in to the hospital. I never lost my MP, no bloody show, water never broke.

Felt totally normal, no signs of labor.  Woke up at 4:30 with loose stools and steady contractions.
