I'm a lush...

My family loves Christmas and celebrates with many many mimosas on Christmas day. I'm debating on if I should try testing on Christmas morning or sooner because if I do get a BFP I wouldn't want to spend all day drinking. Any thoughts?

I am fully prepared for a negative and it won't ruin Christmas day for me. But we will have the whole family over and I would want DH to know before everyone else.

I'm on mobile and can't see tickers. But if a bfn won't bother you, do it sooner. But alcohol doesn't get to the fetus until 6 weeks or so, so even if you did have some drinks, you'd be fine.

I would test.

I know everyone is different, but I was able to get a pretty definite BFP at 10DPO.  It would at least put your mind at ease for some yummy mimosas.
