First U/S Appt

Hi just a quick update from my first U/S appt we had on Monday @ 6w4d. Everything went really well and its finally sinking in. Baby was measuring at 6w3d and had a heart rate of 116 bpm. I knew exactly what the heart rate should be and was holding my breath until she gave us the rate. My first pregnancy we had a heart rate of 90 at the first U/S (also 6 1/2 weeks) and then went back in at 8 weeks only to find that I had miscarried. So it was a huge sigh of relief, although I am very aware of how many more steps and stages we have to go through.

We've started to tell our closest friends and parents. Most everyone is super supportive. Best wishes to all of you this Christmas and Holiday season.
