Ornament question

I'm going to be making some ornaments (hopefully) and I want to keep them pretty simple. I've got the clear glass ornaments and I'm going to paint them from the inside like on Pinterest. I'm going to do some in green & some in yellow for the Packers. I would like to do a "G" on it for Green Bay, but not sure how would be best to do it? Would you cut it out on the cricut and use Mod Podge to put it on it? Draw it on with a paint pen in white?  Just want to make them look as good as possible.

Most are done with vinyl. It can be a little tricky to apply at first, so practice- you can even use white contact paper (usually meant to line shelves and such).

White contact paper is genius! I'm assuming if I use that I won't have to do anything to it? 

I like to be crafty but it's not something that comes naturally to me, lol.

I've done lettering on clear ornaments with a fine tipped sharpie paint pen, but I think that the contact paper mentioned in the pp is the best idea.  Good Luck!
