BlueCards:DS doesn't have this, however I did as a kid. Definitely catch it as soon as they can. I started wearing an eye patch and doing eye therapy in kindergarten through junior high and honestly it pretty much did nothing. My left eye remains where my brain basically just doesn't use it putting strain on the right. I always wonder if earlier intervention would have helped
I agree. I think early intervention plays a big factor. That's why I'm glad we caught it so early. There's a little girl at my church who wears an eye patch and her parents said that it is making a difference. Hopefully it will correct itself by her 18 month appointment. But, if not, I'll definitely be pursuing treatment.
