Anyone else?

I am having cramps.  Almost like when I am on my period, but I am pregnant.  Normal or not and why?

Completly normal. Don't worry. It's caused by the stretching and growing going on inside your belly.

This is normal. Your body is changing and things are shifting. Remember that even though baby is not that big your uterus is still bigger than baby. Your muscles are relaxing in preparation for what it needs to do. Remember that when your period comes your uterus contracts to expel what it needs which causes cramps. Same idea for pregnancy, your uterus is slowly growing which causes you to cramp.

I'm glad you asked this. I've been having the same type of cramps and began to get worried. Glad to know its not abnormal.

I had been having the same thing. They started when I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks and 2 days and lasted until I was 4 weeks. I didn't trust my positive pregnancy tests until I actually missed my period because it felt like it was still coming! I haven't been having them for the past couple of days though.

I just found out I was pregnant but I am 5 days past when my period should have started.  I was just worried it was an early sign something may be wrong.  My mom never had them

Very normal that early. Your baby is getting comfortable.

I've been the same way. I think some of my cramps are worse than period cramps. They definitely seem to last longer.

This happened to me for about a week at 3-4 weeks! I read that it was the egg implanting itself in my uterus ;)

I have been having cramps EXACTLY like pre-period cramps.  The doctor said that is to be 100% expected.  As others replied. . . the uterus is stretching like crazy!
