moby wrap?

does anyone have one? does LO like it? is it easy to use? I received the Infantino Sash Mei Tai Carrier as a gift but it's hit or miss with DD. wondering if she might like the moby a bit more. I feel like wearing her will be very helpful especially on days where she is fussy and doesn't want to be put down. thanks for the input!

My moby was my number one favorite item when DS was a newborn. DS was fine about sleeping in the pnp at night, but his day time naps were significantly better if he was held. It was the difference between a 30 minute nap or a 2-3 hour nap. I wore him for most of his naps the first couple of months, and that worked great for both of us. He got good naps, he had extra time he wasn't on his back, and I had my hands free to do what I needed to do. When we was about 3 months old we transitioned to the crib, and he kept up with his nice long naps.

I really like mine. I don't use it all the time but I do enjoy it when I do. LO will fall asleep within 5 minutes of being wrapped. I don't think it is as hard to put on as people make it out to be. I watched all the videos and practiced, though. I borrowed a friends baby nest and found it to be much harder to use, actually--plus I like how adjustable the moby is; it feels a lot more secure. The biggest issues I have with it, and why I don't use it more is that my LO does not like his head covered. I have to still use a hand to support his head while walking around with it. Once he has better head control (and he is getting there!) I will probably use it a lot more.

I wouldn't say it is easy to use. It took time for me to figure out. But it is a great product.

I hate mine but I am the only person I've ever heard of that does! It calms him down and he enjoys it, I just feel like a huge giant blob when I'm wearing it. I feel like I can get much more done just holding him and using one hand.

I have one. Joey likes it okay. He's big enough and moves enough that he was out of the newborn hug hold really fast, and that was a bummer. I personally wished I would have waited to try it out with him with a borrowed one first.

Usually I feel like I don't have enough time to put it on perfectly, get him in comfortably, and be relaxed enough to not freak him out. I think I'd like to get a different carrier, perhaps an Ergo.

But I'm one of the few that don't really care for it. Most of the moms that I know that have one LOVE theirs.

I love ours. DD is going through a phase where she doesn't want to put down at all during the day. It makes napping especially frustrating. But I can just wear her around and she just passes out! I also love wearing it out. I've taken DD out by myself with the wrap just so I can get out of the house, and it was great. It's a bit awkward putting it on in the parking lot before taking her out of her car seat, but I've got a pretty good system down now and don't think about it twice.

I love mine. Lucy usually falls asleep instantly because she likes being bundled and warm. Down side though is its so long that the ends always touch the ground.

I've had trouble getting the hang of it & honestly it takes me so long & dd doesn't seem to love it so I wish I bought the ktan bc I've heard it was simpler. We use our Bjorn from ds1 if we need it right now.
