burping

are we still supposed to?

juniper is 8 mos old, EBF, and has 1 "meal" puree daily.

should we burp her still after nursing?

she is still a spitting-up baby, btw. will this help?

S burps on his own. He doesn't spit up anything just a burp. What happens if you don't burp her? I would think you wouldn't need to at this age.

I don't formally burp him, but I have him sit up for a minute before letting him play. He burps on his own. If I don't, I find that he spits up more.

i just find that she sleeps at the breast so much, and i don't want to wake her to burp her. so i lay her down and let her sleep. then i wake her, and she spits up as soon as i pick her up.

guess i should find a way to do it without waking her.

thx!
