Worlds dumbest question

Is ear infection contagious? I'm sick now after Cs pneonmnia and ear infection fun. Today my ear is all muffled, feels full, I can't hear and if I bend down I get dizzy and it hurts all through my head. I have a cold, sneezing, runny/stuffy nose.
This is her first ear infection and I've had like 1 in my life so I am clueless.
I think it's part of my cold but now I'm wondering if this is something I caught?
Sorry for the dumb question :

Ear infections aren't contagious but the viruses that can cause them can be. Last time Maddie got an ear infection DH did, too. Feel better soon!

Yep! If she has a cold and then you get it you can develop an ear infection too. It's a common complication of colds.
