Hello ladies. I'm here after finding out yesterday that our baby had no heartbeat and had not grown since last week. We went from thinking there was a possibility of twins to having no baby. The reality of it hasn't really hit me yet, I'm still processing it. I was able to get scheduled for a D&C tomorrow morning, so I am grateful that I can get that part out of the way sooner than later. I know the emotional healing will take much longer and I am hoping That will start soon after the procedure.
We had a miscarriage in May of 2011, but with that one I was already miscarrying when I found out I was pregnant so I didn't have time to get excited about being pregnant. While we were cautiously optimistic this time around, things seemed to be going so well that I let myself think this might actually be it.
i just wanted to say that this board has already helped me a great deal. While sitting in the doctors office today, reading the posts here helped me make my decision to get a d and C rather than miscarry naturally.
i am so sorry we are all here, but hopefully we can find comfort in each other's support.
I am so very sorry that you have found yourself here :( I am glad that you found our advice to be helpful in your decision for a D&C. I had mine 3 weeks ago and was glad that I chose that route. It did help to get the recovery process started more quickly.
You'll find wonderful ladies on this board who will offer an abundance of support. Many hugs to you!
I am so, so sorry for your loss. I am also here a second time. Hope your recovery is quick and painless.
Also, unrelated to anything: we're practically neighbors - I'm also in NJ about a half hour from you.
Hope your surgery went ok.
I am so sorry you are back here. It breaks my heart to read you journey in your signature. I am 40 and my Dh is 49 so we are also feeling a time crunch. ((hugs))
