Tomorrow is my D & C

I actually feel like I am physically sick. I feel nauseated and feel like I am going to get sick any minute. I am so upset about this miscarriage. I am so nervous about this procedure. A lot of people have told me that it isn't any big deal, but it is a big deal to me. I am trying to keep my faith and I know that there is a reason for this awful experience. Praying for every woman going through the same thing because we all need comfort now.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this.

Physically, my D&C was very easy.   Emotionally, it was one of the toughest things I've ever been through in my life.  Okay, maybe not the D&C itself, but the whole process of losing our baby has been really difficult.  

It's normal to be nervous about a medical procedure.  However, I'm sure everything will go fine.   When it comes to this kind of thing, usually the anxiety of anticipation is worse than the actual event.  But that anxiety is perfectly normal.

I had never had surgery before my d&c last January and was absolutely terrified going into it too - but I will say, physically, the procedure was not as big and bad as I had made it out to be in my head. You'll be out and the next thing you know you'll be in recovery. Emotionally it IS a big deal... but I think when people say it's not they're just trying to say it won't be bad physically. I

so sorry you are going through this and are so nervous about the procedure.  I was TERRIFIED and it ended up being very easy physically. 

you are right it is a very big deal but the procedure isn't anything to be scared of...what you are going thru emotionally is 6 million times worse.

I'm going to agree with everyone else. I had mine this morning. I've been freaking myself out about it, almost to the point of panic attacks. But the procedure was easy. Of course the process itself is terrible. I would tell you to try to relax but I know how stupid it sounds (and I hate it when people say it to me, like it's that easy...) but do your best. Good luck.

Thank you ladies.  I just got home just a bit ago.  You are all right.  The procedure wasn't as bad as I thought, but now I am starting to feel empty.  I can't help but think this way.  Thank you so much for all of your thoughts and prayers and my thoughts and prayers are with you too.

Thank you Jen.  Yeah I was stressed out too.  I think that is why my stomach was in knots and I was nauseated.  I had my procedure today and it went well, but I feel an empty feeling.  Maybe God will bless us again with another soon or later.  Big hugs to you too and praying for you and your family through this difficult time.
