Update to the itchys.....

So at my last apt I showed the doctor how much this awesome rash had spread in just a day in a half and she was able to prescribe me a cream for it....  How ever the cream does less than the hydrocortisone and Aveno does... :/

Test results for cholestais doesnt come back until next week (thought 2 days was fast but w/e).. but Dr is leaning more towards it being puppps anyway...  Said can get worse or better after delivery...  Good god I can't deal with this for another 2 weeks..  

Praying that Lil Brayden decides to show up early...  Vent over..

That is such a shame! I'm sorry dear. Have you tried soaking in an oatmeal bath? I remember doing that as a kid when i had poison ivy.

Ughh I had pupps when i was pregnant with DS.  It was horrible.  I actaully have a few scars from it.  It cleared up for the most part within a few weeks of delivery then i went to the dermatologist and he told me i was crazy for letting it get so bad that he could have given me some pills (i forgot what they are called now).  Good luck I hope it clears up soon.  I feel for you!

Sorry your itchies are worse. Weird that it may or may not get worse after delivery. Hang in there. Braden is totally worth it!

Right! I wish it was a definite that it would et better- but some women have it worse after delivery...

Knowing that I get to meet Brayden (I had a typo before..whoops) soon is the only thing that makes this all worth it! 

 Thanks to the other ladies comments and suggestions... I was thinking about a bath but they say not to shower too hot as it can dry out your skin more...a  cold bath is not appealing! lol and I will be contacting a dermatologist right after delivery when I am home if it is not starting to clear up...

Am also going to ask about Steriods at my appointment on Monday. I read on a past bump thread that you can take them during 3rd tri but if you plan to breast feed cant take them then...

Fingers crossed!

I was diagnosed with cholestasis and I can say that I didn't have a rash with it.  Itchiness was awful and it's the reason they got Paxton out of there as quickly as they did.  I'm so sorry for the itchiness and I hope they can figure something out for you real soon.  You may want to ask them what pills you can take.  I took zyrtec during day and benedryl at night.  I couldn't imagine having to put a cream all over my body with how itchy you can get.  GL and hope they figure something out for you soon.  PS- waiting a week for bile acid test to come back really stinks!  Hang in there, girlfriend.

I had a horrible rash with DS at 26 weeks. It wasn't PUPPS just a random hormonal rash. It was so bad they gave me steroids. I was able to breast feed so double check on that.
