Today is my last Prometrium pill, hooray!!!   I went to my Chiropractor yesterday and I swear she is an AF miracle worker so I'm assuming AF will come either tomorrow or Sunday once the Prometrium is stopped. I'm scheduled to start stims on Thursday the 27th....thanks to my crazy endocrine system I don't have to follow a strict cd2 baseline since my hormone levels would be the same even months down the road. Yay me?!?

 

QOTD:   My hubs always has to work since he's a police officer but this year is especially stinky. He is switching from afternoons (3pm-11pm) to midnights(11pm-7am) on New Years Day so essentially he's working a double NYE into NYD to change over shifts.  Normally we would get dressed up and go for a nice dinner before/after he worked...but boohooo, not this year. His brother invited me out with a couple other couples but I don't want to feel like a third wheel so I may just stay at home with my little furbaby this year. Lame, I know. Maybe I'll get her a little party hat, LOL

I start stims tomorrow!  I'm nervous about all the meds.  I feel like I've forgotten everything from my class.

Hey ladies, I think I may be a polar bear. After my Nov. cycle was cancelled and all the embryos were frozen due to risk of OHSS, I start delestrogen for FETon Jan. 11th. FET is either going to be Jan. 28th or the Monday following that. You can add me to the FET. I am currently on BCPs waiting to start. QOTW: We were hoping I would be prego after Nov. cycle so we made no New Years plans. We may make a last minute trip to Las Vegas.

Married June 2011
Dx: anovulatory due to prolactinoma (1.5cmx 1.5cm in 2006)
April 2012: MRI- questionable cyst 8mg by 12mm in pituitary
referred to RE by Ob-gyn after amenorrhea x 4+ months, provera ineffective, low estrogen level
cycle 1: May 2012, clomid 50mg; cycle cancelled, thin lining, no response
cycle 2: June 2012, femara 5mg; cycle cancelled, no response
cycle 3: July 2012, femara 7.5mg; cycle cancelled (largest folli on Cd12 & cd 16: 11, lining 4)

Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal
Aug. 23: HSG all clear; DH- perfect
Switched to a new RE in early Sept. IVF here we come
Genetic testing reveals: Fragile X- Intermediate risk/grey zone.
IVF#1: ER 11/30: 14 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized. E2 prior to trigger 5200. Decision made to freeze 6 embryos and transfer later due to OHSS.
IVF#1.2/FET #1: estrogen injects start 1/18, FET delayed to try to thicken lining. lining 5.4mm. FET- 2/18- transferred one 3AA expanded blast. BFP 5dp5dt. Beta #1- 2/27 9dp5dt- 102.27 beta #2 3/1: 147 :(, beta #3 3/4: 268 stop meds. #4: 269, #5 133, #6 72, still in beta hell. Beta 7 (3/25) 29.

Waiting on AF so I can start my estrogen patches and hopefully ET on the 17/18th if AF comes on time.

Hi ladies, happy Friday!

I STILL have not started my period which makes me think that if this bologne goes on much longer, I wont be a polar bear after all.  My cycles have been pretty predictable so it's annoying the crap out of me that of course this period has to be wonky.

I've been on-call for work the past two years for NYE, and looks like I'll be on-call this year as well. That means no parties, but will be staying at home watching the ball drop on TV. Boooooooring. I'll live vicariously through the rest of you all.

Me (31) DH (35) - Finding our path to baby #1
Me: POF/DOR - AMH <0.16, heterozygous c677t MTHFR
DH: Severe MFI
12/2/11 - IUI #1- BFN
8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
My ovaries seem to be just for decoration

12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

Can you add me to the list please? I am currently on Lupron and go in for my suppression check on Sunday if all looks good I will start stims for IVF2 that night.
As for NYE we will probably have a low key night in since my parents are in town and we have a big party at my in laws on the 1st.

5 Failed IUI's Moving onto IVF, Stims Start 10/27, ER 11/5=27 eggs!, 23 mature, 1 Fertilized WTF?? Rescue ICSI on 12 and we had 3 more fertilize. Transfered 2 on 11/9. Beta on 11/23.

Not too much to report here. On Lupron, I feel a lot more crappy this time around, having lots of headaches and I'm just exausted all the time. I was started out on 20iu until I start AF than down to 10iu. I was on day 5 with no sign of AF and I was worried about being oversupressed like last time so I called my RE's office. Of course my nurse was on vacation and one of the other nurses had no clue so I was frustrated. I did get a call back yesterday from one of the good nurses and she told me to reduce my dosage. So that makes me less worried about oversupressing! Good luck to all the other polar bears!


We used to go out for NYE, but last year we didn't and this year we won't. We actually have my 2 year old niece staying the night. It should still be fun though.

IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.
IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14
Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20=BFN
Second opinion at new clinic TBD
decided to stick with old clinic with new plan.
5/3 started metformin for IVF # 3 set to start in July!!!

Good morning, Ladies, and Happy Friday!

I am currently on bcp's and am set to start Lupron on the 26th. I can't believe I made it to the five day countdown!  

QOTD: MH and I are pretty lame on new year's. We decided that every year we have tried to go out, it has been a disaster, so we started having our own little parties at home: lots of yummy appetizers, champaign, wine for me, scotch for him, play some games, and we drunk skype with our siblings in other states. It's pretty hilarious. I guess no drinking for me this year, b/c I'll be on stims. I'm curious to know if you will all be having drinks during stims or not???

Me (33)- unexplained MH (35)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist = BFN c/p, poor quality blasts, tested sperm dna fragmentation. Results all good, yay! New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. My meds should arrive today - I was nervous because the FedEx tracking showed delays and shipment exceptions beyond their control (snow!). I'm having it delivered to work and I won't be back until the day after I start Lupron, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it all works out.

No NY plans so far. We will just have returned from a week of visiting our families, so I think that I might need a low-key night at home anyway. I will also start Lupron on the 30th. I anticipate that I will not feel good - last time I itched like crazy for the first few days.

Hey ladies! I'm on my 5th day of BCPs and go in on the morning of the 31st and should start Lupron that day. I'm overlapping the Lupron with BCPs for 7 days instead of 3 to make sure I don't try to ovulate this time!

QOTD: We don't have any plans now but we might go to my ILs lake house with friends or go out to dinner with my sister and BIL

No real update on me as of now.  I'm on birth control, go for another saline sono the day after Christmas and start lupron on the 28th.  This FET stuff is pretty foreign to me as I haven't had a lot of time to educate myself *too* much, which may be a good thing.

As for New Years, I have a wedding to attend and a reception!  Should be good times!! I'll be the sober one.  ;)

Update: I ordered my meds, and paid for them. They will be shipped out to me on the 12/26. I thought to myself wow I really can't believe I ordered this for the 3rd time. I finally stopped spotting/bleeding. It was 8 days, I want to throw a party slowly getting back to normal. That m/c threw me for a loop.I am thinking I shall start next period 1/7 so I will start stimming right around there.

Rooting for this new year for us!!!

Nothing new to report really.  Don't expect AF for another two weeks or so.... our IVF class isn't until January 21st so hopefully we'll roll right into everything immediately.  We would be going a lot earlier but we're holding out in hopes of a grant.  Tongue Tied

Siggys have been taking a long time to update so that might be the issue. I sometimes find that saving a bunch of times forced it to update too! GL!

Update: I ordered my meds, and paid for them. They will be shipped out to me on the 12/26. I thought to myself wow I really can't believe I ordered this for the 3rd time. I finally stopped spotting/bleeding. It was 8 days, I want to throw a party slowly getting back to normal. That m/c threw me for a loop.I am thinking I shall start next period 1/7 so I will start stimming right around there.

Nothing new to update just waiting for AF to show and then I'll start estrogen on day 1.

 QOTD: We are going out with some of my husbands co workers for dinner and out for the night. Im not sure how late i can stay up since I'm in bed by 9 usually. 
Age:30 healthy DH: 32 DX Testicular CA '03(banked sperm) Reoccurance of Testicular CA '10 RPLD.TTC: 6/2012. _______________ 6/12 met with RE advised to go to straight IVF due to quality & amount of sperm banked. 6/26/12 day 3 work up & US~ normal. 7/3/2010 Sono~ Polyps. 8/21/12 DH: PEUS~ No retrograde sperm visible; low testosterone. 9/6/12 hysteroscopy/polyectomy~ Removed 2. Now waiting for next steps to start the process of IVF! November IVF Antagonist protocol/risk of OHSS. ER 11/13 17R/15M/12F ET 11/18 transferred 2 beautiful blasts. 5 frozen embies. Beta 11/27 BFN. Please add me to the list.  I am currently waiting for my new insurance to kick in so we can start my cycle.  I am on CD3 right now so we are probably looking at a really late Jan ER. 

QOTD: For new years, I am not exactly sure of our plans.  This will be our first one with a little one and while 2012 has brought us Braeden through adoption the process after his birth for finalization(still pending) has been really tough and I am 1000% ready to start a new year.  I want to do something to celebrate our new year as a family of 3 (we should finalize 12/31...knock on wood).

Hey ladies, I think I may be a polar bear. After my Nov. cycle was cancelled and all the embryos were frozen due to risk of OHSS, I start delestrogen for FETon Jan. 11th. FET is either going to be Jan. 28th or the Monday following that. You can add me to the FET. I am currently on BCPs waiting to start. QOTW: We were hoping I would be prego after Nov. cycle so we made no New Years plans. We may make a last minute trip to Las Vegas.

I STILL have not started my period which makes me think that if this bologne goes on much longer, I wont be a polar bear after all.  My cycles have been pretty predictable so it's annoying the crap out of me that of course this period has to be wonky.

I've been on-call for work the past two years for NYE, and looks like I'll be on-call this year as well. That means no parties, but will be staying at home watching the ball drop on TV. Boooooooring. I'll live vicariously through the rest of you all.

Stupid period, why is it always there when you DONT want it and never there when you DO?!? Hope it works out for you this month!

Not too much to report here. On Lupron, I feel a lot more crappy this time around, having lots of headaches and I'm just exausted all the time. I was started out on 20iu until I start AF than down to 10iu. I was on day 5 with no sign of AF and I was worried about being oversupressed like last time so I called my RE's office. Of course my nurse was on vacation and one of the other nurses had no clue so I was frustrated. I did get a call back yesterday from one of the good nurses and she told me to reduce my dosage. So that makes me less worried about oversupressing! Good luck to all the other polar bears! We used to go out for NYE, but last year we didn't and this year we won't. We actually have my 2 year old niece staying the night. It should still be fun though.

Hope the reduction on the dosage helps you feel better!

QOTD: MH and I are pretty lame on new year's. We decided that every year we have tried to go out, it has been a disaster, so we started having our own little parties at home: lots of yummy appetizers, champaign, wine for me, scotch for him, play some games, and we drunk skype with our siblings in other states. It's pretty hilarious. I guess no drinking for me this year, b/c I'll be on stims. I'm curious to know if you will all be having drinks during stims or not???

This is the most hilarious and ingenious thing I've ever heard, I love it!!  LOL

I'll be starting stims on the 27th but I'll probably have a drink or two while I'm sitting at home by myself, LOL

My meds should arrive today - I was nervous because the FedEx tracking showed delays and shipment exceptions beyond their control (snow!). I'm having it delivered to work and I won't be back until the day after I start Lupron, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it all works out.

No NY plans so far. We will just have returned from a week of visiting our families, so I think that I might need a low-key night at home anyway. I will also start Lupron on the 30th. I anticipate that I will not feel good - last time I itched like crazy for the first few days. 

Hope it works out ok!
