Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.: I had a little bit of spotting this morning. I looked back at my old charts, and the only time I spotted on 7 DPO was the cycle I had a 7-day LP. Considering how messed up this cycle has been in general, I can't help but think it's way more likely to be pre-period spotting than anything else.

GTKY: Do you live close to family? What factors affected your decision on where to live? Are you happy with how close you are? We live quite far away from my family (in Canada) and DH's family (in Delaware). I love living in Chicago, but I do wish we had family nearby. I often feel out of the loop when I hear about my sister spending time with mom and dad. I moved here to be with DH, who moved here to pursue comedy many, many years ago.

CD/DPO:  25/8 i think

Timing: good

Testing plans: have been saying after christmas but am debating 11 dpo so I feel comfortable drinking at my brothers on monday

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.:  my boobs/nipples have been so incredibly sore for the last 2 days worse than they have ever been... I am sure it is nothing or I am just noticing it more this month.

GTKY: Do you live close to family? What factors affected your decision on where to live? Are you happy with how close you are? my parents live 7-8 miles north of us and H's live about 8 miles south of us. That really didn't play a factor, I already lived in the town we currently lived in when we met, I sold that house moved into H's apt in a different town, and when we looked to buy we looked out here because it is between our jobs and is a very nice place to live.  I like the closeness, if there is an emergency we can get to either house quickly but for the most part we don't have many spontaneous drop ins!

Took another test this morning and got a BFN.
I'm anxious for AF to hurry up and get here. It's unusual for me to have a 15 plus day LP.
We live a 3 hour drive from family. I think it is a nice distance away. Close enough to go home when we want to yet far enough to be away. We moved here because of DHs job.

We live about 20 min in each direction from our family.  It was affordable, but we will probably be moving farther away, so we can be closer to my work and so H can carpool to his work with a fellow co-worker. Apparently it's too far for our family to visit. Oh well.

One of his sisters lives here in CT, about 30mins from us. We're renting a duplex, and this place accepts dogs. Most rentals do not accept dogs, and if they do, they only accept small dogs. We happen to have two enormous beast dogs.

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.:I have officially lost it. Tmi but this morning my pee smelled horrible, almost made me gag. Of course now I'm googling urine smells and early signs of pregnancy. Going over the edge but if you know you are crazy then you're not, right:

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.: I know I'm out this cycle and I've been having cramps for a week and a backache for the last few days.  I think this is going to be a monster period. I ordered a few cloth pads to try and got them yesterday so at least I am prepared.

Are you happy with how close you are?  We live a mile from my parents and a mile from his dad.  His mom is about 15 miles away.  We grew up in the area and just decided to stay.  I'm okay with it;.  We don't see them a ton, even though we live so close but having the option is nice.

Happy Friday and happy last-day-before-a-long-holiday-weekend!!! WOOO!!!

Timing: O-3, O-2, O-1

CD/DPO: 24/ 10 or 11 

Testing plans: Yesterday had a slight BFP on a FRER; the line is more prominent this morning, and I'm finally starting to see a visible line on a Wondo.  It's still early, so I'm cautiously optimistic. 

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.: I don't think it's appropriate to do a full post since I am new here, but I would like to stick around the board until I can turn a digital +.  I'll probably try one tomorrow morning.  I'm trying my best to keep from telling DH until Christmas Eve/Christmas, and the fact that I haven't seen it on a digital is helping me keep it in..  Last night I completed my Christmas shopping and bought a plush "my first golf set" (DH is an avid golfer.. who am I kidding, it's his life!) , the "Daddies" Golden Book, and a book about fatherhood.  I'll put them all in a giftbag and give it to him Christmas Eve/morning.  If it doesn't click, I'll hand him a dig at that point ;)  Not sure if it will work because he will definitely notice the fact that I'm avoiding wine and soft cheeses this weekend...

Are you happy with how close you are? We live about an hour from DH'a parents (they're in north east CT), but much further from my parents since they retired to NC.  I'm disappointed we are so far from my parents, especially now that it looks like we may be expecting a little one in early September. DH moved to NYC post college; I graduated a year later and started my PhD about 20min from NYC so I ended up joining him.  After a few years we moved up to Westchester County NY because he had a job offer in Greenwich, CT.  I love it here, but would like to be closer to our parents for practical reasons.

Timing:  decent

Testing plans: I convinced myself not to test today, AF should be here tomorrow, so at this point I'd feel stupid for testing when I could have just waited 24 hours.

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.: My temp is holing strong. Its even a little higher than 2 days ago. Still having some cramps, which as I've said, is odd and my boobs are as full as they usually get before AF, but with almost no pain associated.  I was really not feeling like this was going to be it, but its looking more and more like it might be. I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm going to see if I can hold out until Christmas Eve to test, like DH wants, if AF doesn't show by then.

GTKY: Do you live close to family? What factors affected your decision on where to live? Are you happy with how close you are? We don't live near either of our families. The military is the only factor putting us here lol. Neither of us are a fan of it here, DH applied to move north to be close to his family, which I want as well. It is looking like he might get it, but that might also mean moving when I am very pregnant.....

We are about 15 min from my mom's, and my sister lives with her right now. We are also 15 min from DH sisters. His parents live near Rochester, and my brother lives out in the country (about an hour away). I also have Uncles and cousins that live about 30 mins away. I like the area we are in, hopefully someday we can buy a house, but the distance from family is good for me.

Timing: awesome, O minus 3 through O plus one.

Testing plans: pretty sure I'm out. BFN yesterday, followed by spotting and a temp drop...

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.: started spotting yesterday so I may be moving over to waiting to O today. Shortest cycle ever at 26 days... Temp was below cover line this morning too.

GTKY: Do you live close to family? What factors affected your decision on where to live? Are you happy with how close you are? Sort of close. 2 hour drive in the summer, 3 hour flight in the winter my parents winter in FL. I would love to live closer to family, but I'd like them to move closer to us. I don't want to move back where I grew up. I moved to Chicago after college because it was a better place for getting a job and being young and single than Milwaukee. I met DH, we got married, and his job is here. There isn't really anything for us back home. We are trying to move to the northern suburbs of Chicago, because that'll make the drive back and forth much easier.

Are you happy with how close you are?  I'm assuming this is regarding immediate family, like parents?  I'm from the northside of the city, DH is from the southside.  He bought a home when we were dating on the southside - so that's why.  I would love to move north, but I know he won't.  I'm adjusting though.. and it's not too bad. My parents are only about 40 minutes.  His are about 10.

Timing: Pretty good, O-4, O-2, O-1. Then I was out of town.

Testing plans: Tomorrow because we have a wedding. 

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.: I had a temp dip today (still above the cover line), but I had a huge temp dip like that this summer when I was pregnant and I thought I was definitely out that cycle. I'm on progesterone though so I wouldn't expect my temp to drop fully on its own. 

GTKY: Do you live close to family? What factors affected your decision on where to live? Are you happy with how close you are? Yes, we live about 10 minutes from both our parents. We love our hometown and always knew we would move back here. We choose to specifically live in the same area because the schools are great and we love the neighborhood.

CD/DPO: 16/2 days I think this is my first month charting and I had a huge temp jump yesterday morning. The day before tons of EWM and a positive OPK but FF hasnt yet said if it was the O...not sure how many days after it gives you that?

Timing:  -3O -1O then I got sick and sex was not in the cards for me.

Testing plans: none

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.: first month temping I am really enjoying watching my chart. I like feeling like I have some sort of idea whats going on with my body!

GTKY: We bought a house near my DHs family he is one of six and we are an hour away from my folks and brothers and his family. I like living here the schools are better then near my family. We seem them a few times a month!

CD/DPO:  81/3

Timing: FF says "High" 

Testing plans:  Before NYE if I don't have my period yet so I can have champagne (or not).

I'm close to everyone except the in-laws who moved out of town right around the time I met my husband for FIL's job.  

We have been thinking about moving because we hate the suburbs and want to live in a real city/town.  We like being close to our family but we might move where the in-laws are or nearby in the future.

Our families both live within about 40 minutes of us. It is really important to me that our children be able to spend lots of time with their relatives, but DH is really starting to push moving farther south. I wouldn't mind living somewhere else, there is nothing other than family that is holding me back. I'm hoping we can find a happy medium where we move away but it's still close enough to be able to do quick weekend trips to see grandma and grandpa.

We love where we are currently living, an hour from MyILs and just over an hour from my fam. Its nice to be a day trip distance without being so close that anyone will show up un-invited once the grandbaby gets here

We live in between our family about an hour away from each set of parents. When we have a baby I have a feeling both sets will move closer to us in about 3 years. I am serious. It makes sense for my family because we live in a less expensive area but it is actually more expensive thsan where DH's family lives.

We live here because it's where DH's job is. We may move around in the state at some point (which will be really funny if both parents move to our town).

When the Lord closes a door, somewhere He opens a window.

Testing plans: Yesterday had a slight BFP on a FRER; the line is more prominent this morning, and I'm finally starting to see a visible line on a Wondo.  It's still early, so I'm cautiously optimistic. 

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.: I don't think it's appropriate to do a full post since I am new here, but I would like to stick around the board until I can turn a digital +.  I'll probably try one tomorrow morning.  I'm trying my best to keep from telling DH until Christmas Eve/Christmas, and the fact that I haven't seen it on a digital is helping me keep it in..  Last night I completed my Christmas shopping and bought a plush "my first golf set" (DH is an avid golfer.. who am I kidding, it's his life!) , the "Daddies" Golden Book, and a book about fatherhood.  I'll put them all in a giftbag and give it to him Christmas Eve/morning.  If it doesn't click, I'll hand him a dig at that point ;)  Not sure if it will work because he will definitely notice the fact that I'm avoiding wine and soft cheeses this weekend...

Are you happy with how close you are? We live about an hour from DH'a parents (they're in north east CT), but much further from my parents since they retired to NC.  I'm disappointed we are so far from my parents, especially now that it looks like we may be expecting a little one in early September. DH moved to NYC post college; I graduated a year later and started my PhD about 20min from NYC so I ended up joining him.  After a few years we moved up to Westchester County NY because he had a job offer in Greenwich, CT.  I love it here, but would like to be closer to our parents for practical reasons.

I moved out to CO from NC when I got married because DH and I were both offered a job out here.  We're now 5 hours from his family but 1800 miles from my family :(  I don't like it.

temp dropped below my cover line so I'm not to happy about that. Plus my IBS has been an issue the past few days.

Yes, but it's not our parents. We live an hour from my Aunt and Uncle, my grandmother lives with them now, and his Aunt and Uncle. H got a good job offer here after graduation. We're not happy we're so far from our parents, and my siblings who are still young. We do like that we have family close by that we can spend time with.

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.:  I'm confused by my chart - I had a slight temp drop this AM (still above CL).  This is my first month charting, so I have no idea if that is what is supposed to happen or not.  When I have been stalking other charts, I don't always see a temp drop.

We are two hours away from my mom, three hours away from DHs parents.  So, not really far, but far enough.  Wink  We moved here b/c of DHs work.

CD/DPO:  20/11

Timing:  O-4 (I know it doesn't really count), O-2 and O-1

Testing plans:  Almost tested this morning, but I didn't. Holding off until Sunday, but I assume my temp will drop more tomorrow and it'll be CD1

Thoughts/concerns/vents/ect.:  I was really hoping to get more of a temp rise this morning. I was so close to testing today (even PIAC), but I didn't want to waste one so I threw it out.

Are you happy with how close you are?  My parents are 100 miles away and my in-laws are 200 miles away.  I grew up in PA and moved to SC 10 years ago.  My parents moved down this way 7 years ago and live in the same city as my oldest sister.  I like that they aren't too close so we have our space, but sometimes I wish we had family that was closer so we could have a babysitter.
