I dream about ex boyfriends all the time. There is a pretty big handful of them and they make their rounds through my dreams. The worst ones are when I'm still married to DH and one comes back to try and win me back. I hate those ones. The dreams where I'm just with one of them and it's a different life are sometimes fun... Oh and I had already known and dated my DH before any of these guys. We took a lot of breaks in our younger years so I had time to meet lots of guys. These dreams have been going on for years!

I started my period today which means that in a couple short weeks I will be fertile.  We are going to start TTC with this cycle.  My husband is 300% on board and can't hardly wait.  I on the other hand am a mess.  I haven't voiced much of my feelings with him.  I'm terrified.  I'm terrified of labor, I'm terrified of not loving the next kid as much as Parker, I'm terrified of how much more my poor dog is going to be neglected, I'm terrified of the added expenses, etc.  I hope I get over these feelings ASAP.  Part of me just feels like I need to ignore what my head is saying and just go with it...

I have dreams about one particlur ex.  He is gorgeous!  So not longer term material though!

On Friday's Lucy goes to my parents' house for what we call "grampy daycare."  She plays with my dad all day and loves it (my mom is there too but is working in her office).  This morning - for whatever reasion - I justified not wrestling with her to brush her teeth because she was going to grampy's.  Makes no sense, but I did not brush her teeth this morning. 

I just spent $260 on window treatments for the baby's room and Kayleigh's room.  I've never spent that much on curtains in my life.  I'm super excited because they will be hand made and actually look nice for a change!  Don't tell DH!

Omg, I dream about one of my ex-boyfriends all.the.time.  He was the love of my life before DH and we broke up only about 6 months before I started dating DH.  I still talked to him (friendly conversation) the first year DH and I were dating even though he hated it.  About a year and a half ago I contacted him and told him we could never talk again because DH didn't like it, and I haven't heard from him or made an effort to talk to him again since.  I'm still friends with some of his family so I know he graduated from law school and moved back to CT with his fiance and they are getting married in April, haha I'm a stalker.  But yeah I have dreams where he leaves her for me, etc...a couple sex dreams, but that's more rare.  The worst part about my dreams is that when we are getting back together I am SO happy in my dream, it feels great!  But I definitely don't feel that way in real life (I had multiple times where I could have left DH when we were dating to go back to him and I just couldn't do it, once I fell in love with DH he had my whole heart and I never wanted to leave!).  But I get how weird it is to have dreams like that (they too have been going on for years, I probably have about 1-2 a week).

Oh my goodness, me too! 1 particularly hot ex for me too. Definitely not long term material, but apparently my brain really liked him because I dream about him all the time. Shhh, don't tell DH!!

After we decided to TTC and I was about to take a test, I was hoping it was going to be positive (I actually had two negative tests before and didn't think I was so maybe that put it in perspective a little better?).  But anyway, when I got the BFP I felt the EXACT same way you just described.  I definitely had a lot more ambivalent feelings about this pregnancy, I had anxiety that our family was going to change, I was scared I couldn't love another child as much as DD, etc.  I even posted it on here a couple times.  Now I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited!  All those feelings are gone and we all can't wait til he's here, it just feels right now.  So don't worry, those feelings are totally normal!

This is kind of a spin off. H and I were on and off a lot when we were younger. I dated guys in between and would dump them to go back to H. I secretly hope I'm "the one that got a away" to like all of them. I know that's unlikely, but man, it would really boost me up.

I'm very excited for you! I have been wrestling a few of those "What in the world are we thinking?!" days myself. The more time I spend with my niece Rebekah, the more I am put at ease. We made it work once, we'll do it again.

Every cramp I'm like "Oh, please be aunt flo!" Because the sooner I start, the sooner my body will be ready to try.

My FFFC: I'm an absolute wreck without B. He hasn't even been gone a full 24 hours, yet, and I've cried twice. He still gets up around 4am, and I rock him for a few minutes then he gets back in bed. I still woke up last night, even though he wasn't there. It was really hard to go back to sleep. Even worse, DH is closing tonight & tomorrow night so I will be home alone. Ugh! Sunday can't come fast enough.

Nice curtains make all the difference IMO! I splurged on nice fabric for our master bedroom months ago. I made these roman shades out of our mini blinds (I posted pics here). Anyway, I spent like $60 on that fabric, but it was originally over $120 and I used a coupon. Anyway, I still don't regret that purchase! I also went around and both new curtains or our dining room, living room, and I have curtains to go with the blinds in my bedroom. It's the 1st time I've ever splurged in fabric (well, I bought tablecloths instead its cheaper) and I still say every day how much I love everything. 

Good for you! I learned a long time ago to never talk with DH BEFORE making purchases regarding home decor. Just show it to him after and he'll like it. My DH lacks vision, so he can't "see" my vision before I actually do it. He thinks its wasteful before I do something, but after it's done he ends up loving it.  

My FFFC: 

dh usually has off between Christmas and New Years. This is the 1st year he doesn't, he has off Christmas Eve and day, but that's all. The he's back to work again. I always love Christmas time for multiple reasons, but it was mostly for the family time we had.

I am really appreciative and thankful that dh has a job. I just wish it wasn't so "on" all the time. DH went to India/Switzerland/London 3 times this year, plus 1 time to California. Plus they send him on conferences as well, which always equal a night or 2 away. He never travelled this much with his old job. I feel like I never see him. Then when he's home, he's working, like last night he worked until 10pm at home. This job brings so much stress in our home, but we NEED it and I'm thankful. I just miss my DH. Especially since he doesn't have off the 1 week out of the year that I thought he would.  

We have the possibility of getting a decent snow storm Christmas Eve/day. We usually drive into Queens (NYC) Christmas Day to be with family. If this storm comes in, obviously we won't be chancing anything so will have to stay home. Part of me is sad, but a huge part of me is very hopeful that we get to stay home. It would be so nice!

I think I have a flame worthy one. I dont need anything for christmas I dont want anything for chirstmas. I just want my boys to have an awesome christmas.

But inevitably, I will end up getting crap for christmas or clothes I will never wear (MIL is notorious for buying some of the ugliest crap Not my style at all) 

So that means I will either have to waste my time which I value you more than stuff, returning things and using the credit on the boys, or donating it.

I wish people would give me nothing and quit wasting my time, not giving me anything would be amazing because then I would get more of my own time but they just dont get that.

 So yes bah humbug LOL I am the grinch. 

I think the holidays should be about family and togetherness and the presents should be reserved for kids but that should not be the kids main focus. 

I'm kind of mystified at how many people roll their eyes at moms who do fun things for Elf on the Shelf (of which I am one). It doesn't take that much time or $ at all. And will I spend that time and $ to create fun memories for my kid?...ugh, *** yes.

I'm annoyed that we haven't gotten an e-mail yet saying that we can go home early today.  Last year the big boss sent an e-mail at 12:30 saying that we would be closeing at 2 for Christmas.  Because I take lunch from 1-2 I got to leave at 1.  The boss just left for lunch and it's already 12:15.  I am going to be so annoyed if I get the e-mail saying we can leave at 2 during my lunch.  I'm just hopeing we get to leave at least an hour early!

(((hugs))) I'm sorry! I can't imagine what that feels like. I'm sure I'd be depressed also. I do just want to say that using medication is not a sign of failure or giving up, it's accepting that you may need help. I personally wouldn't hesitate to use the resources available if I had T-TTC, but this is coming from someone who didn't have trouble so Im sure my ideas of what I'd do are different than what I'd actually do, KWIM?

Again I'm really sorry! I always hope for BFP for you (and all the other ladies have trouble).

 I actually don't either! I think it's fun, and so why can't the parent have fun making the elf so mischievous things? I didn't do it this year because I was lazy, but I did buy one and I plan to do it next year. I thinks it's another tradition that my kids will have to remember when they are older, and when they have kids of their own they will understand why I thought it was so important.   

I just found out we're doing Christmas dinner at my IL's house. I was using the fact that they were coming to our house as motivation to clean my house (it desperately needs it) but now I have absolutely no desire to do any of it. I should ask for maid service one Christmas... that would be the greatest gift ever.

There's a guy I went to high school and college with but the timing was never right for us... even though we had the hots for each other.

We reconnected via Facebook right after DH and I got married. He joined the Marines and is in peak condition. Like amazing welcome to the gun show, wash your laundry on his abs, bounce a quarter off his ass.... just great shape. I drooled looking through his pics.

I dream we meet in the airport and screw like bunnies. Le sigh.
