Can they get cradle cap on their skin?

DS recently developed cradle cap. It looks like he also gets hat flaky cradle cap stuff on his eyebrows, ears, sides of cheeks and upper back/neck. Is the stuff on those areas also cradle cap or I it something else because technically there is no hair in this areas? I all looks th same.  He had a bath yesterday and I go it all off, I was ack again this morning.

Scaly, dry looking skin anywhere else other than the top of their head could be eczema. And babies who have cradle cap + eczema have a much harder time getting rid of the cradle cap.

You might want to ask your pedi. We ended up having to change LO's soap to the Aveeno oatmeal soap, plus use only baby eczema lotion on him, and use prescriptive cortisone cream for flare-up areas. Additionally, we've had to have him tested for allergies, as he's had skin reactions (hives, eczema flares, etc.) to other things.

Cradle cap is going to look yellow and scaly.  Otherwise, it's just dry skin.  You can put baby oil on it, olive oil or I use tea tree oil.
