Bath time!

How often do you bathe your LO? What are your favorite bath products? Any tips for how to keep baby from screaming when they get out?

We do it 5-6 times a week.  I know it's not necessary, but he loves it and he seems to sleep better after.  Right now, we are using Johnson's, but we were gifted with it. 

He only cried a few times after.  Now he's pretty content.

I was doing 3x a week but am stepping it up since he developed cradle cap everywhere. You can try tossing his towel in the dryer before his bath so when he gets out he has a nice warm towel. DS screamed when he got out yesterday because I think h was too cold ;(

Oh and for products I use aquaphor baby wash and Aveeno baby lotion. DH and DD have eczema, so I am starting off using sensitive stuff with DS in case he develops it, too.

my LO hasn't emerged yet, but my pedi recommened aveeno since it doesn't contain irritants like sodium lauryl sulfate (but i haven't checked for myself).  i believe dove soap products also do not contain sls.

My LO loves his bath so we do it 5x a week or so before bedtime. We use Medela sensitive skin and haven't had any dry skin issues. We use Medela cradle cap shampoo and it has made all the flakes he had go away! To minimize crying after the bath, crank up the heat a little bit so LO isn't cold and we use a huge fluffy towel to make sure he is warm and dry. He doesn't cry anymore.

we bathe her every day. the nurse said to at least scrub her head every day so that she doesnt get craddle cap

We do baths every other day. My two developed some baby acne and eczema so our pedi recommended Ave.eno products. I usually turn the oven on and open the oven door so it warms the room for them when they get out (we set up the bath on the kitchen counter by the sink).

My LO gets her bath every other day, I use Johnson's products. But when I set up for her I make sure to turn off the fans and air, she usually stays calm unless she gets cold. But she screamed until she was 6weeks old.

We do it every couple of days.  I make sure the bathroom heat is on high so that the whole room is warm for when he gets out.  We just use Johnson and Johnson.

We bathe him 3x/week.  DS hated it at first, but now he doesn't mind.  We crank up the heat in the bathroom so he doesn't get cold when he comes out of the water, and we quickly wrap him up and dry him off w/a towel.

Bath products - we use Earth Mama Angel Baby shampoo and body wash.

Right now baths for the little one are about twice a week (toddler every other day)

we use California baby and Shea moisture (can get both at target)

LO loves bath time!

We do every MWF at night time. He's got really dry skin so our pedi recommended max of three times per week. We use Aquaphor for the same reason.

My favorite bath item is our tub! It's really similar to this one. The sling works great and he looks like he's just hanging out in a hammock, haha!

I place him on a towel and wrap him up and he immediately stops crying. He is always happiest after a bath. :)

I bathe LO every other day. I love Johnson's Night time lavendar. He smells so good and rests a little easier. I have hooded towels and put the hooded part on his head first then pick him up and wrap him real quick. Inalways turn the heat up so he is not so cold when he gets out and I go ahead before giving him a bath lay his diaper, lotion, clothes, and brush out.

Every 2-3 days. It's not like she gets dirty and I don't want her skin to get too dry. We are using Aveeno now but will probably switch to regular Johnson's once we're finished with what we have. We always used Johnson's (the purple containers) on DS and like it.

We do it almost every night, we use cali baby products. We put her bath on the counter and run the shower on hot so it gets warm in the bathroom. And lastly we turn on the space heater in our room so its toasty for her nightly massage and pj dressing.
