T&Ps for my family

I got the call yesterday that I have been dreading.. My sweet grandma will only be with us for a few more days, most likely less.

She has been in hte hospital since Saturday. She has pneumonia again and her kidneys are failing. The anitbiotics haven't helped the pneumonia and it's just getting worse. Yesterday she was taken off all IV's and antibiotics. They put her on morphine for comfort.

Thankfully my MIL came immediately over to watch the kids so I could go see my grandma. She was struggling to breathe and sleeping almost the whole time I was there. I was able to spend some alone time with her and I fed her some pudding. She woke up enough to say Hi to my brother and I and that totally made my day.

Please keep my family in your T&Ps, My dad, his brothers and sister are having a difficult time with this.

Thank you all.

My uncle just sent me a text with an update. Her oxygen level is 97 without oxygen (which I believe is good? Right?) and he said she is comfortable for the first time in days.

I'm hoping to go up and see her again tonight when DH gets home.
