Oh no I hope everything turns out okay! I had a positive screen for spina bifida and before I had my ultrasound I was freaking out. I found a few forums on babycenter I think for parents with children with spina bifida and it really really made me feel better. Maybe you could look into those in the mean time? That and don't jump to any conclusions because it takes a highly specialized ultrasound to diagnosis it and your elective ultrasound was probably not that specific. Either way, hang in there! Not knowing for sure is the worst I know but soon you will have more answers.
