Convertible car seat

I know it has been asked several times before, but I'm looking for some recommendations. OR, just post a link to a previous post. I'm on my phone and find it difficult to search.

Thanks bunches!

I'm getting the Graco MyRide 65 [or 70, I haven't decided yet since they are the exact same size]. We don't have it yet so I don't know how DD will like it. But it gets good reviews online and a couple of IRL friends have and love it.

I got Hayley the Evenflo Titan Elite - It's about 100 at BRU (and we got it for 25 after gift cards and coupons - yay!) We needed something that wasn't going to take up too much space and it fit the bill. It's not super tiny either - so there is room to stretch. Has a cup holder, very comfy, and goes til 50 pounds.

This is what we have. We have only been using it for a week or so, but we like it so far.

I have a Britax Boulevard 70G3 in my car. I love it. It was easy to install, and has great bells and whistles.

Hubs has the Safety 1st Guide 65 Sport in his truck. It's a nice seat, very easy on the checkbook, and has side impact head protection. Not many bells and whistles and you have to fight the straps twisting a lot, but it's not the seat we use the most, so it's not a huge deal to us.

This is the one we are getting for both my DH and MIL [daycare].

We have a Safety 1st Complete Air 65. I love it. DD seems to like it. She's never really had problems with car seats though. Super simple to adjust.

We have the Safety 1st - Complete Air 65. I love it! It's really roomy for Eli (who is a peanut anyway..) and fits nicely in my CR-V. Regularly it was about 200.00, but when I got it from TRU,  I had a 20% coupon so that made it more affordable.

We have the Graco MyRide 65 and love it!  We have used it since about 5 months and we are still on the just the second slot for the straps.  There a 4 more.  It was pretty easy to install.  It fits well in my Tahoe, but I don't know how it would be in a car.  Its RF until 40lbs and FF until 65lbs.  It has two cup holders and it has extra head support and padding for around the legs.  Lyla hated having those in because it was summer and it just made her hot.  Now she is used to not having them in so I haven't tried putting them back.  A friend that is a carseat tech said they weren't necessary.

We love our Britax Advocate.  Lots of good safety features, really easy to install, easy to adjust and soft/comfortable for C.

We have a britax marathon and absolutely love it. With that said, I have been using a graco my ride 65 at my parents this week and I am not at all impressed. I have the hardest time tightening it to as tight as it should be to stay safe. It is also huge by comparison to the britax marathon.

I plan on getting the Diono Radian RXT by the end of the month. The best price is on amazon.

It could've been the first and only car seat we ever needed. It goes 5 to 120lbs, up to 45lbs rear-facing. It is compact and it can be folded and carried like a back-pack for airport travel.

Sapphire it really depends on what kind of vehicle you have. The myride is tooooo big in my car. I'd get the radian ideally but rear facing it takes up a lot of room on the height.

We got a britax roundabout for 100 on sale. The straps never twist and it was easy to install.

As always, TB212ers, are wonderful. We have one from our registry Britax blvd, but need one for the 2nd car. We were also contemplating returning that getting two. We did talk w/ the Buy Buy Baby salespeople, but that was over a year ago, we had a different car, I honestly don't remember the features to look for. I'll still do some online research, but you ladies have narrowed the field down a lot for me.
Thx a million!

Another feature I loved on ds2's carseat was straps you don't have to re thread.

This too. On our Boulevard, you never have to rethread the straps. You simply squeeze a lever at the top and pull up. This also moves the head protection wings. It's a breeze.

We have the Britax marathon and love it! Nat fits pretty well in it and she is tall. It was also super easy to install so that is a huge plus in my books.

Britax are the best! The easiest to install and use. If you have a Kohls card you can order it online and get free shipping. I got both of ours using a 30% off coupon code and then getting Kohls cash as well (for the 2nd I used the Kohls cash from the 1st one to help pay for it).

We are getting (ugh) the Orbit baby toddler convertible G2 for my car, with base.

Which I'm sort of upset about, but! It's the only one that we've been able to find that both fits in my car and which I have a chance of getting DD in and out of. Stupid me bought a 2 door honda civic when we were still in "eeeeeh, maybe we'll have a kid?" phase. Which was fine when she fit in the bucket seat still because I could just drop her in the base/pull her out with a minimum of wrangling. But, the days of the baby bucket are coming to a close now and there's no way I could possibly get her in and out of a solely rear facing seat without it being an exercise in massive frustration and complexity.

So we got the Orbit, so that I can just turn it to face somewhat frontwards, strap ehr in, and then turn it back to face rear-wards. Bonus! It actually fits behind my drivers side seat so I can get her in and out while we're in the garage!

We have experience with a few. For DD we used the Safety 1st Complete Air and love it. She uses it still, in my parents car. For DH's car we have the Evenflo Titan Elite. DD is small and outgrew it heightwise RF around age 2. It has a short shell so I would not recommend it. Most LOs won't make it to even 2 in it RF. For a good back up seat we have the Cosco Scenera. It's a great seat, just not very comfy. This is what DS is currently using in my car, but we want to get him something more comfortable.

We're planning on getting the Graco MySize (Size4Me). Same seat, different names depending on the retailer. It has 8 harness positions and is the tallest RF shell on the market. This seat will last him until he needs a simple dedicated booster (age 6 or 7).
