XP: slow leak in waters?

Has anyone had a slow leak in in amniotic fluid? What was it like?

Last night after dinner, I stood up and felt a little gush. I went to the bathroom and my underwear was very wet, but not enough to be my "water breaking." It barely went through to my pants (Sorry if TMI). This happened at one other point before bed last night. Now I just woke up around 3 am and had the same thing happen. If it was my water, would it be more often than 3 gushes over a 7 hour period? I was in bed probably from 11-3 during that time.

I am probably going to call the doc anyways and I am sure they'll have me go get checked out at the hospital, but I am going to wait until morning and hubby is up.

I would call but it could also be discharge. Last weekend I had heavy gushes of fluid and went to labor/delivery since dr office was closed. They tested it for amniotic fluid but it was just a lot of discharge. Good thing it happened though because I am high risk for preterm labor and have a cerclage. They found that im dilated and thinned more. Just glad it wasn't my water!

Call.. That's how my water leaked fur a day. I was so unsure but finally called after a day of random small gushes and it was amniotic fluid

The doc told me to lay down for 30 min and then get up. If it gushed once I got up, it was probably amniotic fluid. That said, I've been having lots of discharge gushes lately.

Same thing happened to me over the last couple days and I'm actually in early stage labor right now... thankfully my midwife gave me 24 hours to let labor start on its own so I'm still at home, but you definitely want to get it checked out. I'm sure you're fine waiting until morning--the only reason you might want to be more concerned is if you're GBS+. By the way, depending on your OB/MW, if it is your amniotic fluid leaking they might want to send you straight to the hospital for an induction so it's not a bad idea to have your bag packed and bring it with you when you go.

I was told this as well with a pad on. If you get up and the pads saturated it could be AF. Had a gush the other day that freaked me out, did this and the pad was dry which is a lil frustrating but at least i knew it wasnt anything to be concerned about. Happened to me at 28 weeks too which sent me to L and D and thats when they gave me the tip. Pregnancy is so glamorous, isn't it???
