Randoms Anyone?

I have 39 minutes of work left.  Then I'm off for four nights. I don't realize how annoying working overnights is until I'm confronted with the idea of being able to sleep like a normal person 4 days in a row.  It's so awesome. It's more exciting than Christmas.

By even thinking this I have obviously made it so that Joey will now randomly get up every night I'm off.

Maybe his Christmas gift to you will be sleeping a ton! I'm sure you are off work by now, and I hope you have a wonderful break and a merry Christmas!

I am also off for the next 5 days. 4 of them will be spent in various cities around my state with family. Somehow the first Christmas we were going to spend as a family of 3 at home (last year we traveled out of town) turned into 4 days of family christmases. ::sigh::

I am the first person up today! I love sleeping and and spending a few minutes to myself on the weekends. I'm rarely the first one up.

My brother and SIL are having a baby soon! She is due next Friday, and an eviction date is set for Jan 2 if the baby isn't here before that.

DH was the last of the three of us to fall ill yesterday with this flu bug.  Unfortunately for him, the clock is not going to stop ticking, so he needs to pull himself together today.  We need to try to finish our shopping, and get started on wrapping, both of which were neglected most of the week.

I dug up a few gift cards, and we were able to upgrade the original kitchen we planned to get DD and a bigger and better one.  DH and I are going to have so much fun putting it together on Christmas Eve!

Hope everyone is getting at least a little relaxation before the craziness begins after this weekend!  Don't forget to take a moment to stop, breathe, and ENJOY this wonderful time of the year :)

I am goin to see the Lion King the musical today will all the ladies in my family. Each year we try and see one musical together around the holidays. I am insanely excited.
My brother comes hone today from the Navy and we have to plan our cross country trek which is in about two weeks.
I woke up at my regular time today but Miss DD decided to sleep in... Wish I was still sleeping too.
Not getting on the Nice List this way

In a completely non-creepy way, I am totally relating to your life right now loll! I saw The Lion King musical a few years ago. I loved it! My brother was also in the Navy. I would kill to go on a cross country trip with him. Our dad (who passed away) took a cross-country trip at our age, and it would be really cool to duplicate it with my brother now. DS is sleeping in this morning too.

See, not creepy at all!

Did I know that your brother is in the Navy? I feel like that is something I should have known before . . . Anyway, that is totally not creeping me out haha! I think you should definitely do the road trip with your bro . . . actually I will let you know AFTER I do mine and let you know how I survive.

Bil proposed to his g/f last night or this morning. I'm not happy for them. They have a terrible relationship and have no idea what real life will be like. She hasn't even told her parents yet because she's nervous. They don't like bil. No sympathy from me!

I took Ljs paci away this weekend and it is going well. I'm all "In your faces hoes who said it would be the most miserable few days of my life". So proud of my baby!

We expect this Christmas to be my Grandma's last. Although I'm trying my best not to dwell on this, I still find myself teary eyed almost everyday.

Cancer sucks balls.

Cancer does suck balls. We lost DH's grandmother in October and it blows. I really wish we had her for one last Christmas. I'm sorry you guys are dealing with this.

Oh! I hope you get some sleep!!

I'm letting the boys take a shower together right now. It's more for entertainment than actually getting clean. They're pretending to clean the walls with my expensive shampoo. I kind of care, but I'm tired and it's the end of the day.

We tried to visit with H at the fire station but the first time right when we got there he had a run and so we went to our friends house. I got lost going back to the station and by the time we made it there they had another run. So we didn't even really get to see him. Boo.

The midwife told me Thursday, third babies are the hardest pregnancy but the easiest delivery. I hope that's true because I'm annoying myself with the wining I'm doing. Haha

I just had a wonderful family day and I hope tomorrow is just as good :)

I made a huge ham casserole today as well as 5 turkey pot pies. I was on a roll!

We took the girls to our friend's karate school Christmas party today. They both freaked out (not in a good way) when Santa showed up. The girls still had a blast though and I think DD1 will now be starting karate in January.

The highlight of the party was when one little girl raised her hand. When Santa asked her if she had a question, she shouted "I love you" and she ran to hug him. 

We were supposed to get 10 inches of snow yesterday but it got too warm and it all came down as rain. I was super bummed, but then I woke up this morning and it was snowing. It snowed all day and I couldn't be happier.

I finished all my holiday shopping yesterday - I am so glad I don't have to go anywhere near a mall this weekend!
