I need your opinion!

I have been making my own baby food by using a veggie steamer/ rice cooker.

Today I was steaming green beans, got distracted and the water evaporated out of the steamer and burnt the veggie juice to the bottom and the cooking pot was really hot. The kitchen kinda smells like when the sugar from a sweet potato cooks to the bottom of the oven... KWIM??

Since the cooking pot is non stick (I think)... and I accidently let the water cook out and it got super hot/dry... would you toss the veggies or still use them?

I am leaning towards toss, but I don't know if I am just overly worried.

Take a bite.  If it tastes good then keep them.  If it tastes bad then toss.
