Omg....I want to cry! Fed V at 10:30 after his bath.I gave him extra ounce (5oz instead of 4oz) as I did last night. He was great! Ate well, fell asleep after last ounce. But I had to give him evening dose of Zantac. I usually give it to him mid bottle, but I forgot to bring it upstairs with us. DH decided "he couldn't make the stairs yet" and I had wait for him to get it. Translate...after V had finished bottle and fallen asleep. Vincent HATES the Zantac. So the apparent nasty taste woke him up. Took me till 11:45 to get him down. I thought I'd get at least 4 hours if not 5 with extra ounce. Well.....V was up at 1:15. I spent an hour playing the paci game, sshing, head stroking, and rocking in hopes of him back down. Every time I dozed back off, he'd cry, Finally gave up at 2:15 and got up to mix bottle. Came back in room.....he is fast asleep. It's now 2:30. If I lie down and go back to sleep, he'll be up as soon as I'm asleep. If I wait him out, he'll likely stay sleeping--- plus now I'm awake. Murphy's law I guess.
Good news--- I finished wrapping all Xmas gifts today and food shopping for Xmas dinner is done. (This apparently is what "exhausted" DH today.) Plus I cleaned and straightend LO's room--- packed up all Newborn clothes, reorganized drawers with 3 month stuff, and put crib wedge in LO's crib hoping to at least get him to nap in there without waking within 10 minutes screaming in pain.
Bad news: I STILL have to go out and get stocking stuffers for DH, Mom, MIL, and LO. Then have to wrap them. Plus have to make sauce for Christmas day Lasagna and make lasagna. DH going out tomorrow to watch football with the guys. That means LO is coming with me to shop and I am on own ALL day with LO---usually Sat and Sunday are my easy days bc DH is home.
I know I will survive....just stressing a bit.
