No cold medicine, I use vapor bath, vapor rub, a humidifyer with the vapor stuff in it and if she has a cough there is all natural stuff that you can get at the store for children 1 year and above that is just honey and something else or just use a spoonful of honey to calm the cough, if they are not allergic.
