Where do you change your lo?

We are still changing dd on her changing table but it has become increasingly difficult as she barely fits on it and she squirms so much it makes it impossible.

Where do you change your lo?

I change her on the floor in her room on a blanket. At 6 months I had to stop changing DD1 on the changing table. She's a wild one!! Lol.

I change DD on the living room floor but still use her changing pad.. I keep it located under the coffee table and when its time to change she'll pull it out and sit down on it.. although sometimes she runs away not wanting a diaper change.

Oh yeah, that started to become a fight. I tell her no once then just keep putting her back. Eventually she got the picture.

Usually on the floor in his room. He's less likely to try to get away if he has a toy. If DH is home, I sometimes call him in to help.

We never had a changing table. I used to use a blanket on my bed, and then I actually used our big Graco stroller for awhile (since I never used it anyway).

The floor or the couch. If he's extra wiggly I do it quick while trying to distract him. (Funny faces, talking to him, etc. or I'll hand him a toy while I do it)

My son is 22 months, hangs off the changing table but we still change poopy diapers on it. He is too wild if we try to change him on the floor. He gets up and refuses to be changed. We are almost potty trained thank goodness!

Wherever. Floor, couch, chair, windowsill, counter, bed. Wherever I am and I don't really worry about it. Her changing table is in her room upstairs, she gets a diaper changed upstairs maybe once or twice a week.

The changing table. It's a bit of a production, but with the big belly the floor is definitely not my first choice.

We spend 99% of our time in the living room, so we change her on the floor or on our ottoman with a changing pad/sheet thing underneath her.

She can still fit on the changing pad on her dresser. But when I was a daycare teacher, I used to change the toddlers standing up. It's a skill I think every parent should know. So much easier!

I never got a changing table, so I either use DD's crib or the floor.  I have a basket of diaper stuff in her room and another one out in the living room.  When it's bedtime or right before/after a nap, I change her in her room in her crib.  If we're out in the living room, I change her on the floor.

We still use the changing table.  She is impossible to change on the floor,  she flips and tries to crawl away the whole time.  On the changing table she just lays there and whines.

Anywhere. I have diaper supplies in pretty much every room in the house.

If it's a poop diaper, I lay down a blanket and change her. If it's just pee, I put the clean diaper under her butt and change her on the couch.

Changing table - she puts her feet up on the edge - if she's poopy.

Otherwise, just standing in the middle of the room wherever she is, or wherever I catch her after we play chase. ;)

i'm with pp--anywhere. we still use their changing pad in their room at bedtime, but a floor or couch anywhere will do. they squirm and try to run, but we distract and have fun and say no if necessary...just gotta get the job done.

Always the changing table on a dresser in his room. He is 27lbs and it hasn't been too much of a problem. He does squirm, but I just give him a toy to distract him.

Mostly the changing table. He likes to play with the straps that hold him on. When not there, the floor.

Floor, bed couch, changing table attached to her pack-n-play. Anywhere really. My friend taught me to always put the clean diaper under my LO before opening the dirty one. She gets (lightly) swatted and told no if she tries to get up in the middle of a changing and at 15 mo. she pretty much has the idea.

Sometimes the floor and sometimes the changing table, but either way, it is a big ordeal.  When I change him on the floor he usually takes off running.  My solution is to shut the door so he can't escape and just kind of follow him around and catch him. You could also try to keep a special changing toy on hand to keep her still. That usually works for a little while for us.

Changing table here too. I changed DD on our changing table up until we potty trained her, just before she turned two. I did put a folded blanket at the head of the changer to protect her from hitting her head towards the end though because she was way too tall for it.
